  1. Now there's a sleeper for ya...Very cool and your usual great work!!
  2. Thank you Bill. Not sure I'd want to daily drive a '57 Vette but the occasional romp would be enjoyable. Thanks again!
  3. Surprisingly, there are quite a few LSU fans in lower middle TN. But for whatever reason, I thing Alabummer fans outnumber Vols fans?
  4. Very cool Dave and great job?
  5. Yep, nice color and paint work. Do like the hood.
  6. Turned out very nice David, good work?
  7. Well thanks a lot Bill☺️ Hey there Carl, much appreciated? Thanks Chris!! Thanks David. I seldom do more then plug wiring but it just looked so naked at the top.
  8. I'm not a Tennessee native but been here south of Nashville 18 years....being from New Orleans my blood runs LSU purple and gold?
  9. Awwww come on...that's a model?!! Yep, darn incredible build!!??
  10. Very nice David in red hot red? The Torque Thrusts are a perfect look!
  11. Great lookin' 300 Dennis!
  12. Thanks James and yeah, I just can't ever go strictly stock.
  13. Thanks a lot!! I appreciate the compliment Trevor! Thanks Steve...I assume you being a Vols fan you are in Tennessee. Ditto on the black/red combo. Thanks Dave. Hey Gary...thanks, I'ts the body you gifted me. Hello David, compliment from you is appreciated.
  14. Looks scrumptious Steve....are you the designated cook in the family?
  15. Thanks David. I do like the Mr. Surfacer 1500 black and the black Mr. Hobby. I forgot to mention it's cleared with the Tamiya X-22 clear, sanded with various grit sandpaper and compounded and polished with some professional finishing products.
  16. Thank you Chaz. Thanks Bob....yeah it definetly had it's issues. Hey there Mario and thanks. I keep pluggin' away at them but it's getting more challenging with ole "arthur" in the fingers. Thank you. Yep, the old Monogram kit. Thanks Lenny.
  17. Thanks...yeah I'm to never go completely stock. Thank you Bill Can't go wrong going black and red. Thanks Larry Thanks again Bob and your encouragement.
  18. Hello All! Finally got this one done but it wasn't easy. 2 repaints, scrapped one body after severely warping it (?don't ask) and some fit issues. A big shout out to forum member Gramps46 for coming thru for me with a new body (in fact a whole kit less wheels and tires...thanks again Gary). Paint is Mr. Color black over black Mr. Surfacer 1500. Insert and interior is a Tamiya red. BMF trim. Chrome around the covers were no fun at all. Keith Marks emblem decals (very thin and tedious to work with). So here it is...for me at my age and deteriorating skill it's about as good as it can be. THANKS FOR LOOKING!!
  19. Now this is a cool build. I also did some track time in my stock powerpack 283/Powerglide '57 Bel Air. Awww, then good old days!
  20. Go for it James, will be a cool build!!?
