  1. I was just wondering if resin cast and/or 3D printed parts can be bent for a certain fit. In my case, I have several tube type exhaust headers that are basically useless to me if I can't reshape them. What ya got guys and thanks in advance. Mike
  2. Thanks about the paint. I have tried air brushing the clear with mixed results. At least with acrylic you can wash it right off.
  3. Looks spiffy there my Friend?
  4. As Dan said, the inserts are cloth. The lone exception are the Convertable that has vinyl inserts. Of course this being a Belair coupe, black cloth. And yep, a Matte or even satin finish would be good on the rest of the seats.
  5. OMG Carl, I'm just now seeing this. I fell a couple years ago then again hurting both shoulders and still suffer. Anyway Buddy, I hope you are doing better or OK. Good luck!!
  6. That's a beauty David! The black paint job looks impeccable. The tinted windshield is a nice touch. What did you use? And man, all that chrome. Great job??
  7. Appreciate the pictures Ron. That Rat Rod (I guess it's what you'd call it) is WILD!!
  8. Both jobs are great Bruce. What paints?
  9. Color is pretty....looks really nice. Probably just the color on the screen but looks more blue than purple , or it's just me. Did you spray the paint right out of the bottle, no thinner?
  10. Did you try to contact him?
  11. Really nice Craig. I actually like the subtle gold on that?
  12. Well I'm like in the start it and finish it crowd. I only work maybe 2-3 hours 4-5 days a week on a model so it kinda takes me forever to get one done. I used to have 2 maybe 3 at a time but with limited space it got to be too much. Just my 2 cents.
  13. Guess I missed this one...really nice Monte ya got there David?
  14. Yep D J, like "Zippy" said, right up my ally?
  15. Good post there Ryan, such a shame he left us so young. I'm a big Warren Haynes fan.
  16. Very cool Corvette from way back in the day?. I likes it!! Been contemplating doing a '57 drag racer.
  17. Yep, great weathering work and the engine Kari?
  18. Very cool and nice build Steve. The 1:1 car would be a fun ride.\!
  19. Wow, great job on the '83 James. I owned (well my wife claimed it as her's?) an '84 Z-28, black/silver trim with the HO engine. Any super nice work!!?
  20. That's a really nice Malibu wagon, beautiful paint!
  21. I very seldom post any progress or WIP's on here but I'm so pleased with how the paint job polished out today on my current build I decided to do it today. Paint is Anita's Metallic Black craft paint over Mr. HobbySurfacer 1500 black and cleared with Tamiya X-22. The Metallic is super fine gold and not visable in the picture.
  22. Thank you Ken, appreciate the comments?
  23. Whoa, that's a looker there!! Great job Ace?
