Thank you Craig. Hey David..thanks. You're sure right about the black. I just can't help myself with the use of TorqThrust or Crager 5-spokes.? Appreciate the compliment DJ. Oh yeah, not a great old kit but does have some nice wheels that I didn.t use. Thanks Hector. Yep love my black and red combo. Thanks John....love the Fandamntastic comment? Thank you Tim!! Thanks Alan for your kind comment. Agree about the black comment. This is the third time I used the Anita's Metallic Black craft paint with a great result every time. Thanks a lot Larry. I've said this before, my wife likes to quote a friend of hers back in the day who said "any color is good as long as it's black" Thank you Chris!! And Cheers to you Dan...thanks!!

OK fellow forum members, I present to you my latest victim. Work started on this one two months ago. In my opinion this is a kit that needs a lot more work than I'm capable of to correct the numerous flaws and/or inaccuracies. The firewall fit is a terrible design, the panel lines on both doors at the front of the door above the trim is almost non-existent, the engine exhaust headers are downright ugly and the driveshaft has no u-joints. I did use nice Ron Coon Resin U-joints on the build. I reiterate, these issues can be corrected by you guys' with more skills than I possess. As for the panel line issue, I did get it scribed pretty well but only after totally botching the original body so bad I couldn't get it repaired. Thanks to my loving wife for buying me a another kit for a new body. Anyway, the actual build is basically OOB with no mods. Paint is Anita's Metallic Black craft paint over Mr. Hobby Surfacer 1500 black and cleared with Tamiya X-22. The Metallic is super fine gold and not visible in the picture. Wheels are from Comp Resins (purchased from Slixx Decals). The rear tires are MT N50's from Fireball. And it's a wrap. Thanks all for looking?

It's all looking good there my Friend. Engine fit looks perfect.

Wow Larry what an outstanding build!! I always thought that would make a cool model and after seeing yours I know it is. Terrific job?
-
Oh yeah Buddy, very nice adjustments ya made to get things right?

I for sure like what you're doing on the '57 Kevin. I wound up with a 3rd '57 kit after ruining the body on kit #1. I have plans to do it as a drag car...well, one day.

Super nice work on the Goat Patrick...beautiful purple paint ?

Looks great James especially in that color. Wife and I bought a new black/silver '84 H.O. back in the day. Was my wife's daily driver to work and she loved driving it. Beautiful work?
