  1. Yep, I'd prefer to not be spindle mounted.
  2. Really great looking '53 Buddy. I know you had some issues but it came out terrific, especially in black!! πŸ‘ πŸ‘
  3. I'm looking for the front wheels on the '57 pictured. I think Comp Resins had them but they are now out of business. Anyone have a source? I've exhausted my search. Thanks, Mike

  15. Well I'm overwhelmed by all the replies to my Comet post. To each and everyone of you Thanks very much!!!!!!☺️
  16. Thanks Craig. Well I'm actually confused on which clear I actually used. Looking back at my discussion with Dave G. I'm now pretty sure I actually did use the 4050 clear.
  17. And many thanks to you my FriendπŸ˜€
  18. The last build here I completed around 3 weeks ago. This is the Moebius Models Don Nicholson kit. To me it's an OK kit that I had some issues with getting some parts to fit correctly or had trouble with figuring out from the sketchy instructions. Paint is Mr. Hobby 1500 primer, topcoat is Createx Opaque Black and cleared with Createx 5620 Gloss. Thanks to Dave G. for a lot of advise in perfect the mixing and application. Unfortunately, the results aren't reflected (ha, literally) in the pictures. I would have liked the stance to be lower but my modification skills are less than steller. I added the exhaust system as the FX car has only headers. Thanks to Zippy for printing the aftermarket mufflers for me. Wheels and tires are from Iceman. Otherwise, its essentially OOB. Thanks all for looking,
  19. Well shoot my "Tennessee neighbor". Sorry to hear about your issues, and I know how ya feel with my issues. My model completions have slowed a bit and of course the very hot middle Tennessee weather has been no help. This cool spell is welcomed. Hang in there Carl and best of luck to yaπŸ˜„
  20. Oh yeah Marcos, she's a beauty!!πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  21. And now I see Splash Paints has a chrome paint. Anyone use yet?
  22. Sure looks good. Wonder how this compares to SMS Hyperchrome.
  23. Being a trumpet player I also saw one of his concerts, a loooooong time ago. RIP!!
  24. Goofed up on this post, please ignore. I'll eventually get it right😠
