  1. Looks great Bob, I'm a lover of the '66 Chevelle as it was the first new car I ever bought back in the day. Terrific looking!! πŸ‘
  2. Oh wow Craig, the Chevelle looks outstanding. That LSX engine looks great in there!! Two thumbs up to ya πŸ‘πŸ‘
  3. Looking good Mark, keep it rolling on πŸ˜€
  4. Came out great my Friend. It just looks right in that color and I really like the engine!! Terrific job πŸ‘πŸ‘
  5. Hey there Dave, thanks again for your comments. Gonna use Createx pearl black on my next one. It is primed with Mr. Surfacer 1500 lacquer tho. I'm looking forward to trying the 4021.
  6. Thanks for your reply Charlie. I have used the Stynlrez with mixed results. What I don't like about it is just seems to gum up the airbrush. I'm just a big fan of the Mr Surfacer primers but they are lacquer. Have never used the Tamiya acrylic. I'm gonna try the Createx, which I do like, with the new 4021 thinner and see what I get.
  7. I prefer to airbrush so use the bottled 1500 a lot. No local hobby shop here or anywhere around my area. So I do have to order it and have used a few suppliers but right now it just isn't available.
  8. Another vote here for the Mr. Surfacer black as it's also my go to primer, but man, that stuff is getting almost impossible to find.
  9. Well that's an unusual "hot rod". Very cool and great in black/red! Hope you can find one to build.
  10. That 's one slick and cool looking race car!! Great job Robert!
  11. Terrific looking Police Cruiser, great work Joe πŸ‘
  12. Great start on the '65 Gerry. '65 and '66 Impala's were really nice looking cars.
  13. Hey Don, welcome. Plenty to be learned on here!!
  14. Welcome Charlie. A lot to be learned on here!!
  15. Very cool ElCamino Racine. Whats not to like about Black and gold. I really like itπŸ‘
  16. Another good looker Racine. And like the Couger I had but traded-in I have (my wife calls it her car) to this day a '91 T-bird 5.0 Sport.
  17. Looks good Racine. I owned an '89 XR7. Very comfortable car and nice riding car. Great job!!
  18. Oh yeah, a whole lotta good looking vehicles there. Appreciate the pics Scott.
  19. Very informative comments and insights into this topic. Now, for me at least, to put it to good useπŸ˜€
  20. Hi there Carl. IDK if you have a local place to get your Tamiya. I don't so ordering and paying shipping is to much for me to justify for the spray cans.
  21. Thanks for the reply Steve. Something to consider.
  22. Oh yeah John, super nice looking Hornet. The colors pop. That engine looks great in there!! Great job πŸ‘
  23. Ha Steve...I didn't realize you used spray can paint. As evidenced by your great paint jobs I gonna wonder why I go thru all the trouble with different bottled paints, primers and clears. So what is your go too paint brand in the cans?
