  1. Coming along very nicely. Who is the FB resin caster who made the bed ? If you don't mind my asking. Thanks.
  2. Absolutely beautiful. This is the type of build which reminds me why I read the intermet modeling boards. Thanks for sharing.
  3. I feel like this Cutlass kit is similar to the Loch Ness monster. Every once in a while someone shows a blurry picture, claiming they've seen it. But you can never really SEE it. Or in this case, buy it. We'll see I guess.
  4. What happened ? Did you ever finish it ? thanks.
  5. Very nicely done. Years ago I bought a Monogram '58 Corvette for this very purpose. Both kits still sit in my closet. And FWIW, the hubcaps that car would use are available from Modelhaus. I used a set on a '62 Corvette I built a while back.
  6. Pat, the AMT '66 Fairlane has an automatic transmission you could use. I don't think the Fairlane's decals are right for the Mustang though.
  7. I have two sets of the base model hubcaps for a '67. One is chromed and the other one isn't. I thought I got the chromed ones in a set with steal wheels and tires from replicas & miniatures, but reading Ron's reply, I'm not sure now. Anyway, both sets are nicely detailed and they're obviously available from at least two sources. Good luck !
  8. That looks great. I just found a great deal on one of these kits and I can't wait to get it.
  9. Nice project. I've been gathering parts to build my own old Chevy. I paid $100 for a '76 Chevy long bed fleetside. Six cylinder, four speed, and not a single straight panel anywhere. When an old lady demolished it outside my apartment, there where shards of bondo scattered a block away. I still miss it 19 years later.....
  10. Very nicely done ! And a good example proving Chevy used to make the bedt looking pickups.
  11. Does anyone know if this kit will actually have chrome reverse wheels as pictured ? I know the originals ones didn't. I wonder......
  12. Nicely done. This is one of my favorite kits.
  13. I love this truck. To me, a pickup truck has a single door cab and an 8' bed. All the others are just ego strokers as far as I'm concerned. You did a grest job on your conversion !
  14. Very nicely done. But are you sure those wheelcovers aren't from this kit ? Mine has those exact ones in the box and in the picture on the box. I say this because I'm working on it now. And I hope mine turns out 1/2 as nice as yours.
  15. Here is my version of that same '68 Charger kit. It's a great kit.http://images43.fotki.com/v1321/photos/8/897862/4419214/100_2427-vi.jpg
  16. Thanks Roger ! This kit has the carbureted four cylider turbo engine. I also just built an '83 convertible with the v-8 and an SVO with the turbo. All Monogram kits.
  17. Tom K. I have been looking for a pace car as well. I agree they are way too expensive. If I find a reasonable deal on one , I'll let you know !
  18. I've been on a fox Mustang kick. Here is a '79 Turbo Cobra.
  19. I don't have an airbrush , so everything I build is painted with cans. Not sure I know how to post pictures on this forum though...
  20. Here's a couple '69 Camaros I've built recently. A subtle 427 COPO style and a not-so-subtle Baldwin-Motion.
  21. You did a great job on this . The six makes me think Revell should offer a "mainstreamer" version of this kit.
  22. Thanks for the kind words guys. Andrew, here's a couple more pictures of the black car.Rob, Gordon is correct , the visor is from the Galaxie '48 Chevy kit. It doesn't really fit. It is attached with fun-tack for the pictures. Thanks for looking. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  23. Great truck. I have a couple of those I want to build. I'd love to be able to put a black paint job like yours on one of them !
  24. Hey ! finally trying to post a new build here on Model Cars Forum. Hope this works. It is , of course , the Revell '48 Ford ragtop with the chopped top option from the pro-Modeler version , and some custom touches from the new coupe. Enjoy and feel free to comment or critique. The final picture is the custom with it's "Hot rod" brother. Slightly lowered with the hot rod parts from the Pro-Modeler kit.
