  1. Holding your finger down for 2 to 3 seconds seems to be the equivalent to a mouse right click. When I go to a YouTube video, before pressing the play arrow, I ‘hold’ on the image of the video until the ‘save’ window pops up, then I touch ‘save’, which brings up another window with the ‘copy’ option in it, so I touch the ‘copy’ icon. I go back to the forum post I’m in and ‘hold’ wherever the cursor is until the ‘paste’ button pops up and when I touch ‘paste’, the video appears in the post wherever the cursor is set.
  2. Okay, I just have to try this again to make sure it actually works like I remember... here goes... Perfect!! ... thanks again for helping out guys!!??
  3. Ahaaaa! Thank you! ... I was not understanding how the paste part worked. So simple!
  4. https://youtu.be/9BMhFmNzw-o. ......Nope, not doing it.
  5. How to tie a tie video... https://youtu.be/9BMhFmNzw-o Well, just tried it, doesn’t look like it worked
  6. I did just try that ... doesn’t seem to do anything.
  7. No, I just write down the https://, hit the ‘link’ symbol when I’m in editing, then retype it into the editing and save it, and it places it into the topic I’m posting. I’ve only done it once so far. I don’t know, I’ll give it a try the next time I want to post a vid. Actually there isn’t even a command button on this...lol I’m a pretty computer illiterate person actually ... messing around on this site has taught me most of what I know?
  8. Thank you Casey ... I was at least able to figure out how to attach a link of the video to my post, but getting the actual video to show up like yours did is still alluding me. I hit ‘share’ then it pops up the screen that says ‘copy’. When I hit ‘copy’, the load bar at the top does its thing and then that’s it ... I cannot see that anything actually happened, and if I go to this site and start a topic or edit, there is nothing to be found of the video. Oh well, figuring out how to do the link is good enough anyway. I’m glad I finally got that.?
  9. Can someone familiar with iPad please help me learn how to upload a video (such as on YouTube), or post a link on this forum? Thanks!
  10. https://youtu.be/ONBAsASKieM < Here’s a link of her Racing ... she had some serious driving skill. No mention on her cause of death, except that she died suddenly early this month. The video is titled: R.I.P. Caroline Grifnee: Incredible Onboard Ford Escort 1600 RS Castellet 2019 [HD] Here’s a picture of her. She was 39.
  11. Awesome car! ... I think the scuff mark looks authentic. Race cars are never flawless.?
  12. Very impressive for Arkansas!?
  13. Two winters ago we had a few -30 days in a row... It just makes everything more difficult. This winter was pretty mild until this last week where it hovered around -10 to 5 degrees .. Still hardly any snow though. Gonna be a brown summer! Hard to envy a place that’s soon to be a giant pit of smoldering ash?
  14. To me, this is what I perceive as the best representation of Guardsman Blue, but then that could depend on how your monitor is set. I guess to me it appears that it’s not a really pure blue ... it’s got a touch of dirtiness to it if you know what I mean.
  15. I sometimes wonder just how much deviation there was in the shades of original Guardsman Blue. Obviously lighting plays a roll in how we perceive it.
  16. Ha ha! .... That’s because you know what’s up Gramps? Very impressive lineup of legendary Shelbys!!!?
  17. Read the top of the photo. I wanted to bring this thread back to the top because the question of Guardsman Blue will undoubtedly continue to resurface and I’m so glad, that in this thread, the above post was finally made. I realize that the original poster was trying to find a premixed paint that most closely resembles original “Shelby Guardsman Blue”, but that is where the problem begins, because ANYBODY trying to mix “Shelby Guardsman Blue” is doing so according to their own interpretation. Now we do have the Cobra to go by that AFX posted, but does that mean that that car is the best example of “Shelby Guardsman Blue”? ... not necessarily, because as Carroll said, “Whatever the painter that week thought was Guardsman Blue to him, that was Guardsman Blue”. I’ve read where there were races where three different team Cobras were all painted “Guardsman Blue”, but all were noticeably different shades. Apparently there was also a “Ford Guardsman Blue”, which probably does have a code, which from what I’ve come to learn was ALSO metallic, but was darker than the Shelby variations. This is just part of the stuff that makes the old Shelbys fascinating ... that they were raw and kind of crude, in a very purpose built way. My suggestion to anyone building more than one Shelby kit to be painted in “Guardsman Blue” is to make sure they are varying shades of the same general blue, because that would be much more authentic, whereas making them all the same PERFECT Guardsman Blue would be totally inaccurate to history.?
  18. Man...this thing is NICE!!! Perfect paint all around, wheel weights and all!
  19. Oh, they’re well fed alright ... couple of little pigs!
  20. Hahaha....lol! Leave it to Tamiya to make you build the drill that you want to use! Way funny!?

  22. Assuming you want a 1/24 kit, it looks like MFH makes a ‘64 roadster, but it has the 289 in it and it’s pricey. You would probably have to find a 289 roadster body and 427 engine separately. Mad Mike’s makes some awesome 3D printed engines and are available through modelbuilderswh.com. -Randy D who owns the place is a member on here and would probably know of sources for bodies/kits. You might PM him...or AFX and absmiami would also probably be a lot more knowledgeable about this than me, and I’m sure any of them would be happy to help. Hopefully that will get you pointed in the right direction. Good luck!?
  23. What a precious little kitty! When I worked at the animal shelter I learned that black cats usually had the mildest, kindest disposition of all the cats.
