I am amazed by this news and hope it will be a real Pocher. I've been reading through this topic and the suggestion of it might be from Eaglemoss, but looking at the pictures and specific details, I think the Pocher is too different on keypoints. My guess is that they are not the same, but that is just my humble opinion.

Thank you guys for the input, it made a difficult decission a bit easier. With top is the way to go! I had yesterday finally some time to work on the project again, I haven't been able to give it the time I wished I could. But I am grateful that I made some progress yesterday. I worked yesterday mainly on scratchbuilding some new bodyparts. I had to add bodypanels to the rear, where they were too short or non-existing. I added the lower 'walls' And added BMF to the upper rail Then I started to mock-up the body as much as I could, that way I am able to get the right measurements for the new bodypanels. As you can see, there is quite a gap in the back And a smaller one on the right side. With roof and the mock-up car inside

Tucker kit? YES!

He replied to an earlier post in this thread, I believe on the first or second page. -
I had a sort of a good working paintbooth, downdraft and in a cubicle, but I had the feeling it also grabbed too much dust from the workarea and since paintwork is the pinnacle of my modelling, it kept agitating me. So I have been thinking this problem over and over and came up with this solution: I started by making the frames for the cabin . And added wheels on the bottom I also made the floor moveable, by adding wheels This is partly what's left of the old paintbooth, I had a cubicle on top of it, but the front end was open. The second frame was made and finished with gypsum walls Here's where you can see my idea, I made the paintbooth collapsible, taking as little space as needed when not in use. But big enough to be comfy when using the paintbrush A test set-up This will be the backdraft box, I deconstructed the kitchen destractor and used nothing but the motors and the wiring. These are the old motors, before refurbishing Final set up for the extractor, the wiring is behind the right side panel and is removable. On top will be the extractor switch panel, but I also hooked the lights to the panel, just to be tidy I am not happy with the filter, but it is coming along Getting there I used brushes where the both halves overlapse, less chance of dust. And here we go; my new paintbooth! This is the in use position And this is the not in use position.

Thanks Gregg, Would it be an idea to ship the European (and other continents) to one address and distribute from there to lower shipping costs? -

2016 Revell Germany, new releases
The Creative Explorer replied to Luc Janssens's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I am already looking forward to ANOTHER new tooled big scaled modelkit from Revell! Me enthused What I find odd, of all the 1/8 molds, they get the Corvette stingray out, again. I'd rather see any of the Camaro's Thunderbirds etc... Or even the Jaguar. OR what about the 85 Corvette... -

I've read a few weeks ago that there will be changes for international subscribers. Is there more news about that? -
The middle section contains all the plastic sprues, which are not a whole lot The chrome is nice, albeit a bit think This sprue contains 2 little holes, which are in fact 2 practice holes for getting familliar to those little screws And last but not least, the remaining body panels. although they are 4 fenders and the nose cone, rest is aluminium The other box, underneath the tires contains the following: The tires Some more metal parts (suspension, DeDion axle and a wrench) The spaceframe The engine with gearbox And the clearparts I hope you do like the in-box review
-
Some wires, and a screwdriver More aluminium panels First bag of diverse screws Second bag of divers screws Metal bars Aluminium floorpanel and parts of the aifilter Which come with stamped in 'K&N" Aluminium windshield, front and back Aluminium floorpan, front grille and metal brackets And a all metal & polished exhaust system

In another topic I was happy about finding my holy grail and there was a request to post some inbox photo's for all the 'mortals' that don't have the kit (JK). So, here it is, and it is a lot! before I owned the kit, I was very intrigued by the aluminium panels. But once I have it, I found that there is so much more to this kit. Much more. Most of you know the box 'art': A look inside the box only shows the tires, sprues and the alu panels Underneath the alu panels is a box containing the next: A Tamiya sanding sheet We have the alu panels itself Look at the details of the louvres, amazing Aluminium brackets Carpeting for the interior The wheels Clear sheet for the windshield, material for the airfilter and more This is a bit more common by Tamiya kits: fabric seatbelts.

Well, there is the 1/12 Model Factory Hiro Ferrari 250GTO, but that is out of my league. I think it retails at 7-800 Me too, but I am affraid that the reissue will have more plastic and less metal, but I am hoping with you. Waiting on the price wasn't even the major thing, I think it was the first time in 6 years I've seen one presented on the Dutch local adsite. I don't think it will be for a few years, I first need to grow the confidence to screw up a expensive modelkit haha Sure, no problem. Will do that today or tomorrow. I paid 275 euro's for it, I think it evens at 300 dollars. It wasn't cheap, but I do believe that if Tamiya ought to rerelease it, it would cost about the same at least. Sent you a pm about that Porsche.

I've never been off the project, I just didn't had much time to work on it. I believe there has not been a project that I've been so commited too for such a long period. The lower ramp is not fixed in the bus and the wheels are mounted, it is starting to give the transporter shape And by now I reached a dilemma, I added the front part on it again and the top floor, even though I had in mind to make a fully closed of car transporter, I kinda like the looks of the transporter with no roof. What do you guys think?
-
I installed the engine inside the bus And the other floorpan was warped too, so needed to clamp that as well I hope it is visible, but I added paintsplatters to the floor, to create a bit of garagefeeling to it (not sure that even existed then) I keep fitting throughout the build, just to make sure, since there is so much adjusted. Because the drivers seat is not mounted to its backwall no more and is visible from the back, I closed it on the back The drivers cabin a little further And the first glimps on the exterior colors!

Thank you guys! After being quite sick and after that being rather busy with work and the holidays, I finally got to another update. Due to being busy, the progress has been little, but there was some stuff done. Let me run you trough it. I worked firstly a bit more on the ramps, they are basically ready to be painted, but since I want to give weathering somewhat a try, so I added a few pieces of BMF under the paint, allowing me to give somewhat a more realistic paint chip off at the ramps The drivers compartment is painted and partly put together, being able to still weather it before final assembly The undercarriage is somewhat dissappointing with detail, it could have more parts to give it more oompf, I tried with paint to pick up on some detail. A box full of painted parts The mainfloor is painted in a nice flashy color, I wanted to go a bit different haha The engine is painted in different shades of Alclad Because the floorpan is quite warped, I need a few clamps to get everything a bit straight.

It took me about 8 years to find one for a "reasonable" price, even the reasonable wasn't that reasonable, but with seeing the prices all over the world, I got it fairly decent. Which one? Well, it is the 1/12 Tamiya Caterham Super Seven BDR! Picture stolen from the internets I am so pleased with it, it has such nice details and custom parts for it, little brackets, springs, it doesn't end. It is just so nice. For me as a modelkit enthusiast, the kit is very nice addition for it's technical aspect. They really knew what they were doing at Tamiya. It only contains 3 or 4 plastic sprues, the rest is metal. If there is a desire, I can post a in box review.

There are only 2 bumpers mentioned in the booklet, so that indicates there will be more 1/16 transporter vans in the future. I put my money on a panelvan, looking at those bumpers. About the US version, it is in the box. Those bumpers with extra guards are for the USA version, but you have to make your own licenseplate and chrome the bumpers. But that has to happen with the Euro version too.

Paint for 1/16
The Creative Explorer replied to CarLover's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I am not familiar with Gravity, but they seem to have nice products, looks almost like Zero, but I think the solvent base is different. With the Cobra, 30ml might be just enough, but it will be close and personally I take it on my side and would order 60ml. Better to have some left at the end, than to be short before the end.
