  1. And yet another great looking Hemi Cuda. Nice job matching the color to the 1:1.
  2. Great work on a beautiful automobile. Wish they could also reissue the coupe.. I like that shade of blue.
  3. Great looking Impala David and the foil work around the trim is very neatly done. I had a couple of packages of foil last summer that had adhesion issues but since then recent sheets have stuck much better. First time I've seen one of these without the domed SS hood.

    70 AAR Cuda

    A very fine looking Cuda.
  5. Gorgeous paint finish and great seamless transition with the modified roofline.
  6. Definitely a beautiful build and the body color and vinyl top are perfect for the mainstream look. And certainly provides some ideas for my future builds.
  7. Originally built this Monogram Dodge Super Bee either in or just out of high school. Found an original sealed kit complete with new looking decals and a couple packets of Turtle Wax. While the body is dark metallic blue the pictures on the box side show the model in a lighter blue color that looks close in appearance to TS-54.
  8. '69 was the last year bucket seats were available in the Impala (and Caprice) and the same is true for floor shifters and 4 speeds. Only column mounted 3 speed and automatic transmissions were available. Probably why the AMT '70 kit always confused me offering a floor mounted shifter.

    Revell Z

Another very nice example of this kit.
  10. Great looking color and foil work on the trim. I just picked up the original Monogram issued kit recently that's molded in metallic blue.
  11. Excellent work as always and I like how the Rallye wheels are detailed. With the exception of the motor the engine compartment looks identical to the Monogram '80 Turbo Trans Am.
  12. That turned out beautiful. I've done a couple of these with the stock wheels but have been tempted to use the custom wheels. The spinners add a very nice final touch.
  13. Excellent work and ingenuity.
  14. Great looking Camaro and decal work on the hood. That blue works well and think I'll also do one in this color.
  15. There you go again....lol All kidding aside while they're all excellent builds that red/black one is just gorgeous. And the vinyl top grain is nicely in scale.
  16. Spectacular paint finish.
  17. Great looking paint and engine detailing. Carpets also look excellent. I haven't been quite as successful with embossing powder.
  18. Great color on a fantastic build.
  19. Unbelievably beautiful.
  20. That is super nice looking all around that color with the pearl is something I'd like to try since I have an unused can. Fantastic work on the chassis detailing.
  21. Thanks Jerry and yes they had the sink marks. One wasn't that bad so I was able to sand the surrounding area to make it less visible and the other was filled with Tamiya putty. I also used the putty on the passenger front fender to cover the sink mark at the radiator support. I've done a few of these with a few more to go and they all basically have the same body defects that need some attention.
  22. Thanks and my brochure collection doesn't include the '65 full size Chevys. I'll have to pick one up on ebay.
  23. Great looking Judge. I'm currently in the finishing stages with one of these kits. They build up very nicely. I'm working on a mounting strip for the rear bumper above the tail lights to facilitate the attachment process.
  24. Great looking build on the GTO.
