That “winter front” grill is an interesting piece for sure. I’ll have to look into one of these for a future build.

Temps were favourable yesterday to throw some primer around. Firewall has been clearances enough to fit the hemi while keeping the selected channel.

Sand sand sand… and maybe a shot of primer to see how it’s coming along. It’s supposed to be stupid hot here the next couple of days. Hope to make some progress and maybe shoot some colour again.

Thanks Craig, it’s a bit rough but I’m dealing with it. I managed a couple of minutes today at the bench to try an idea that popped in my head. Rear panel from a glue bomb eliminator sectioned to make a rear trim panel. I’ll clean it up but I have to narrow it as well, looks like the width of a saw cut will suffice.

I dig the primer

Well progress has been slowed over the last couple of days, had a small mishap on my dirtbike while trail riding which has resulted in a number of abrasions and a couple of cracked ribs( I’m young I’ll heal, that’s what I keep telling myself) but before that happened I managed to get some body work started, filling in the taillight holes and cleaning up around the cowl plus a small nick that I managed to make while scribing the trunk sigh. Work continues let the sanding begin.

Off to a tidy start! Can’t have enough 33-34 ford builds on the forum.

I like it Jim! I have a box of amt model A parts and have mocked up a couple of them trying to find a configuration that I liked, you may be onto something here.

I agree with you the stock windshield frame will lend to a classy look. Probably even the one from the monogram roadster with the “wing “ windows.

Who doesn't love a mock-up? Let's see yours!

Cobbled this cabriolet together while looking for some parts for my 34 3w coupe build. Only got distracted for about 3 or so hours??? It’s rough, but it’s got the bones of a future build! -
Best way to pack built models
Bullybeef replied to WillyBilly's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I was the shipper of this lot of built ups, I used semi flexible foam and made a partition between model, this lot made it across country with only a few loose parts. The box was four layers deep. -

Tidy work there Greg, I have a couple of original issue kits in the stash, I’ll watch along and see what other tricks you have up your sleeve.
