  1. Well this little truck has found its way off the shelf of maybe onto the bench of let’s get it done. Fresh mock-up with some corrections, this one may be a quickish mostly oob box build for suspension drivetrain. The big focus will me in the visual department of making it look like a 32 instead of the 34 that it actually started life as. So to list the corrections 1. Modify the cab to remove the reveal accent line on the back. 2. Change to a 32 frame. 3. Change the sheet metal for the hood/cowl. 4. Change to 32 fender units/adapting the 34 rear pieces. 5. A ford drivetrain of some iteration. I know some are not a fan of the rolling stock from the original roadster but i feel they will definitely give this a semi modern hotrod feel. Again I’m going for a sheer visual look so the drivetrain will most likely not be traditional.
  2. I had completely forgotten about this, I’m still looking
  3. Well that’s a bummer, I’ve come to the realization that I need to do a bit more research on useable bits for a proper brake set up.
  4. Looking for a rare piece, I need a Hubley country squire front bumper/grille assembly to restore a promo I purchased, the fender sights and mirror would be a bonus. Has to be Hubley, it’s a 1/24 setup and the AMT part is 1/25. I’ve gotten burned once with an amt part.
  5. Pretty neat concept, I’m liking it so far.
  6. Some fine looking work there Bob, what colour/paint did you use for the seats?
  7. You sir, are most welcome! 😊
  8. Small details, it’s the small details
  9. You may be right! I may be crazy! Oh I might just be a lunatic, or something along those lines that Billy Joel was rambling about! I just like having fun and evolving my skills as a modeller. I’m not compensating for anything!😟
  10. Yeah it’s quite time consuming and I think it will be worth it.
  11. Lies, bold faced Lies☹️ we both know who the real culprit is 😒
  12. Yeah I get you Jim… where to cross the line? That leads down the path of the unnamed( you know who I’m “talkin bout Willis”)
  13. Thank you Greg! So far that’s the only assembly group almost finished haha. I still have to do the dash
  14. Just a couple of wrecks from the parts bins, had some ideas late one night and these kinda fell out of a box. We will see if anything good comes of one or maybe both
  15. Many thanks for the kind comments.
  16. Thank you Carl, I need to rip it all down again now to add more details to the chassis.
  17. I took your advice and did thin them a little, swapping the buckles so they are mirrored instead of twinned was a great improvement as well. Thanks for the tip.
  18. Had to mock it all up again to make sure I’m not getting any weird fitment issues. I’m starting to look at ideas for headlights and mounts now, a detail I usually leave til last and it frequently bits me in the butt. And after viewing @customline Jim’s last update on his 39 I may attempt brake lines( something I’ve wanted to try) we will see!
  19. Now that is a clean and tidy additional detail! Well done Jim. I may have to step Up my game and start doing brake lines🤔
  20. Love it, I have a 60 that I’m planning on restoring, still collecting some needed parts!
  21. Thanks Jim, it’s actually the stock seat for I believe a deluxe trim! The big comfy couch for sure!
  22. Love em both, I guess I should add a 34 to my fleet!
