  1. Suspension/driveline modifications are on point!
  2. @Brudda that’s cheating mixing in all those “real” cars with your models 😜. Seriously though they are some well built models. Your photography skills of forced perspective are great.
  3. Thank you LM!
  4. Thank you Bruce, yes get a hot rod build going we need more on here.
  5. Thanks Bernie 😜
  6. Thank you Jim.
  7. Jumping around with some other make work projects while some other ideas are brewing. Added the seatbelts to the big ole comfy couch and pulled another body from the warehouse as the one selected had some flaws I don’t really want to deal with atm. So the usual parting lines and panel seams were cleaned up.
  8. Lots of useful bits here. The revell 48 ford custom has a nice two carb Intake and some nice covers, The revell 32 sedan also has a nice three carb manifold and some nice chrome covers as well. as Bill @Ace-Garageguy mentioned Norm at Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland have some darn nice parts and I just received an order, he has a specific set for the amt/lindberg flattie as well. I’m sure you will have no problem sourcing parts now that you have all this information to delve through, heck I’m gonna re read a lot of this in case I missed some thing haha.
  9. Thank you @bill-e-boy, @Ace-Garageguy and @Dave G.. I’m not an airbrush user yet, I tried the testors thinner and so far it’s proven to be a lifesaver, now I have a useable supply again! Many thanks for the answers gents.
  10. Dennis your attention to small detail always amazes me on your builds!
  11. The red pig is an icon in the racing world, would have loved to see a scale rendition of that one.
  12. Flanges are done, they will be thinned down some before paint, muffler hangers are the next with decision on what to do about tips, turndowns or extend all the way to the back??
  13. Slow and steady, have to fab some hangers as well. I’ll need to creates some flanges for the headers to mate to the pipe extensions before the muffler
  14. I like that I have inspired someone else to build something. That’s high praise in my world!
  15. You won’t be getting an answer Jim, Roger passed away a while back.
  16. The muffler shop is slow! Hand forming all the bends and pin I g the joints is not an easy task @Dennis Lacy made it look so easy. next up are the actual mufflers and deciding on tips, turnouts or turndowns
  17. Thank you for the kind words Oliver, They by far are my favourite body styles!
  18. Now that some of the bench warmers have moved off into the display case I can refocus on this build again. Time to focus on getting an exhaust system mocked in place. Currently scouring the archives for a matched pair of period correct mufflers.
  19. Your rendition of the “Tweedy Pie” is without a doubt the nicest example I’ve ever seen done.
  20. Thank you Steve.
  21. Thank you kindly David, there were some hiccups along the way to getting it to sit exactly as how I’d envisioned.
  22. Thank you Glen, it’s Tamiya TS-41 coral blue, I’m very pleased with how it’s turned out.
  23. Thank you Matt.
  24. Thanks Greg, I wish that there was a better representation of the ‘33/‘34 3 window body in 1/25 scale, this way is a lot of work but I’m happy to have put in the work.
