  1. I prefer rattle cans. About the only time I go for my air brush is to spray engine colors.
  2. To deal with such hardship... is heartbreaking. His name I recognize, but I did not know him. His journey here may be done, but it sounds like he had many friends and admirers. RIP Mr. Setzer.
  3. Nice! We don't get to see the '62 in built form very often.
  4. ...thus killing the historical value completely.
  5. Carve that in stone. Those type of threads grow like weeds.
  6. Prices of the kit and diecast will be going up accordingly.
  7. I thought I saw... something... happen... then I thought "No. Can't be."
  8. Or about $3./lb for the body filler.
  9. I like it; wheels and all!
  10. Looks great! Nice color! Nice wheels! Nice!
  11. No matter who endorses a model, odds are, if Revell had the tooling already in their bins, the finished product will be cast with as few alterations as they can get away with. New tooling, or tool alterations cost money. If you keep the expectations low (and realistic), you won't get an unpleasant surprise. Not the answer we would like, but that seems to be the reality of it.
  12. A Hindustan Avigo? Yeah, that was my next guess. After my first guess. Which I never did make.
  13. You guys have no vision of what is possible. That would be a prototype to see if it's feasible. Looks good to me. Like any prototype, it needs tweaking. Tracks, for deeper snow. If it gets below 0ยบ out, should be OK as it's stored in a garage (maybe in need of a space heater?), driveway looks small and should be able to plow it in minutes. I think he was plowing the sidewalk just to see what it can do, but even then, if it's just to the neighbors driveway, no problem! He should put a pole on it with an amber strobe for liability reasons though. He also needs to find it's maximum snow depth. Otherwise, he will need to plow twice. While sitting at his workbench monitor. No sore back. Sa-weet!!
  14. And fine builds they are!
  15. I see Christmas as an event to survive. For some of us, it is wracked with depression and stress. I only have to buy for my wife, who is absolutely impossible to buy for. I have never heard her say "I would like that" referring to an item in a store. Now I need to figure out how to deal with a bunch of useless trinkets from my stocking. Our sparse income went towards the purchase of this stuff. She seems to think I need computer cable holders.... every Christmas. Thank God it's over.
  16. He's going to like that!
  17. The 19th was a truly bad day- my friend and boss, Todd, died from a heart attack at age 49 that same day. Chuck built some beautiful models. May he RIP.
