Are the front or rear window glass compound curved? And if not, could the glass be cut from thin flat stock, and glued down to shallow mounting lips? Seeing this modification done, makes me want to buy the kit and try my own fix. This may be one of those "It's only plastic" moments.

My wife and I removed all the pointless china and teacups in the dining room hutch, with collectibles that mean something to us. Not her grandmother. For me, I stocked it with my Franklin and Danbury Mint cars. Not my built models. The mint cars just look better. And because the subject matter tends to be of 50's and 60's cars (mostly Cadillac), I think guests can relate and appreciate them better.

Not everyone can afford a 3D printer,, even if the price comes down. Heck, not everyone can afford a 2D printer.... paper, ink,,, cannot justify expense. What can be done, vs what is done, often separated by cost. I can imagine 3D parts, but I doubt the tech will ever be affordable for the masses.

I happened to have CNN on as it was live. The intensity of the twister was so strong, it sucked up the dirt and even lawn, depositing it everywhere as mud. This story will dominate for days. To think of the survivors stumbling out of the remains of their homes... can't even call for help, because everyone else around you is in the same hurt. Bad.
