  1. I have attempted to modify the tie rod on the Hudson for posable steering. There is a piece in the middle that must swivel. Even though I had the engine in place, it popped free, so I removed the engine. I didn't have the block glued in well. Do you think the engine will trap that swivel in place if I glue the engine in?
  2. I just Google'd "Tamiya Master Tools Pillar Drill", it shows that article in the March issue of Tamiya magazine. Perhaps you could locate the magazine? Seems there must be something in the mag on how to contact. Advertiser index?
  3. Yeah, that is nice build! The 2nd gen coupes had a nice style!
  4. I'm really liking this one!
  5. Now that is sweet! Nice paint. Nice build!
  6. I was using this Nike Eyewear display until a few hours ago. Now it's on its way to a new home. I found it next to the local hospital maintenance dept. a few years back. A phone call confirmed that I could take it. But it was just too big, and I already had a wood & glass curio cabinet. It was nice, the shelves were illuminated.
  7. When I built my '65 ragtop, I used the boot for a 1st gen Mustang. Didn't the last issue of this kit include a boot, even tho it is a hardtop?
  8. Nice! How about some more info? Source for the body, motor, wheels, etc?
  9. Why not just use 3D for a master to make a resin cast? The cost could be spread out over several castings. Just a thought.
  10. OMG! He built the Freakshow! I always wondered if someone would attempt it! You did an awesome job, John!
  11. I have always admired the 911, although these days it seems like a car with multiple identities. Every time Porsche changes something, even non visible things such as horsepower is changed, it gets a new numerical designation. I gave up trying to ID the evolution decades ago.
  12. Bill! That is awesome! Also like seeing an up-top in place every now and then.
  13. Something similar just happened around a month ago in or near Boston. Double decker bus had the entire top deck shaved. http://on.rt.com/mo1p2w
  14. Did you run out of digital film? More pics please!
  15. Yes, something changed. Fotki changed. What used to be free, is no longer free. The photos remain, but the features are gone (apparently). Now I use Photobucket. If I need a photo on my Fotki album, I have to save it to my hard drive, and again to my PBucket acct. Or you can open, copy, and paste into a Word program.
  16. Scooby is great! So is the photography!
  17. Do like, Walt!
  18. Never give up. Never quit. All those started kits I have? As far as I am concerned, they are still being worked on. Eventually. Not.... necessarily by me, mind you, but... some day, by someone, they will get done.
  19. Can't say I blame you Harry. Just want to say "thanks" for the fun while it lasted! How about "Find the photoshopped" in an image? Add something, delete something, move something?
  20. Man, that is some nice! Not a big fan of the '50 Olds, but that one is sharp!
  21. Steve.... that is cool beyond words!
