Hallmark has a new Harley in 1/24 every Fall, through the holidays. They average about $15. They look good, with the exceptions of no tire tread, and chrome instead of clear headlight. These are tree ornaments, however, so there is a tiny eyelet in the middle. I just clamp a mini vise grip, and twist it out. Leaves a tiny hole. Not a big problem. I used to have the whole set before I sold off most everything. Old and new Harleys.

In regards to our hobby, Harry? Other, non model related topics is of no interest here. Or so I thought. -
West Coast Ports Could Shut Down in Days, Cripple Asia Trade http://www.nbcnews.com/business/economy/west-coast-ports-could-shut-down-days-cripple-asia-trade-n300701 Traffic at nearly 30 West Coast ports is on the verge of "complete gridlock" and shipping officials have threatened to stop paying dockworkers if a contract deal is not reached soon. Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Pacific Maritime Association CEO James McKenna said West Coast seaports, which handle some $1 trillion in trade per year, could shut down in the next five to 10 days and cripple U.S. trade with Asia. He said the organization is not considering a technical "lockout," but warned that the shipping system would inevitably bring itself to a stop if congestion persists. PMA and the International Longshore & Warehouse Union have been working to negotiate new contracts since May. Nearly 20,000 dockworkers at 29 ports are impacted. PMA says ILWU has conducted slowdowns, walk-offs and other actions at key ports, aggravating congested conditions and disrupting cargo movement in a bid to influence the talks. He said productivity had dropped between 30 percent and 50 percent in recent months, crippling whole strings of vessels, in some cases. It's like "they're getting paid to grind us into the ground," McKenna said. The union denied the claims and said the congestion crisis was "employer-caused." Most watched event ever in USA television history. Couldn't have been that dull.

All of a sudden, this BIG MARGIN of under inflation isn’t so big a deal after all…. http://nesn.com/2015/02/report-many-of-patriots-deflategate-footballs-were-just-few-ticks-under-level/ http://www.businessinsider.com/new-england-patriots-deflategate-balls-2015-2 http://theweek.com/speedreads/537003/report-deflategate-footballs-werent-grossly-under-inflated-after-all http://boston.cbslocal.com/2015/01/27/richs-sources-patriots-footballs-passed-referee-inspection-just-under-allowable-psi-level/ Now, the balls were checked indoors, yes? In heated rooms, right? And air pressure is NEVER affected by temp, according to every kid that has flunked science. And inflated objects never leak, or do they? So anxious for this to play through. So anxious to hear about the Patriots organization filing lawsuits after the accusers cannot prove any of their claims. Even the NFL cannot verify any ball pressure.

Bill Nye is also a big Seahawk fan. Even says so. So his "science" is also suspect.

Man, that looks great! Favor, please... can you add the word "Corvair" in the title so I can find it when I buy my kit, and want to look at your builds? Thanks!

So stunningly cool! Great job, Fabrizio!

...and I am on here rarely these days. Just got one from Gregg, and he doesn't really know me from anyone. So unless he just jumped back on the Facebook bandwagon, I sense a... "hack" on his Fb ID. He isn't the only name from the hobby I suddenly out of the blue receive a "friend" request from. Anyone else?

The pictures were taken in and around Boston, Massachusetts by Leslie Jones, who was staff photographer at the Boston-Herald Traveler newspaper from 1917 to 1956. Mr. Jones captured everything that happened in the city for five decades and when he died in 1967, his family donated a vast collection of 34,000 prints to the Boston Public Library. They included these fascinating photos of vintage car wrecks from the great motoring boom. Motor cars became affordable to the masses for the first time in the 1920's. By the end of the decade a Model T Ford cost $298, just a fraction of the $1,200 it cost in 1909. Local businessman Byron Harwood and Byron Grover were hurt when their car collided with a bus in Waltham, Mass. in 1921. They were lucky to survive this nasty looking wreck. Their car certainly didn't A truck collideded with a bus and flipped over in south Boston, stopping just before it smashed into a cafeteria storefront Another view of the same accident shows eager children posing with the upturned truck. it also demonstrates how close the vehicles came to nearby buildings.

Is this available yet?

These cars look great with a wire wheel cover w/ three prong spinners. This one has the covers from JoHan '68 Chrysler with parts box spinners. The 3M die cut whitewalls on Prestige issue Corvair tires with sidewall sanded smooth leave a lot to be desired. This is such an old build. Think I could do better now. Or not LoL.

Totally worth it. Low production count. Master craftsmanship by a known builder. Exclusive model built to detail of a never before offered kit. Out of reach for us commoners? Sure! Why not? A gold like nugget made of unobtainium. Heck, if they were cheap, everyone would have one. -
Sorry, I don't remember the persons name. Honestly, there are few if any lines on it that are true. Looks like they started with the VW Vanagon.

One of these days, I'm going to dig this out of storage, and have a go at it. It needs a lot of work... it's a mess.

Dog Catcher? Trying to look at the bright side, maybe lose the upper half of the body for a vertical windscreen (or none at all), and ditch that pathetic "bone" radiator cap. From there on, just need a dose of creativity. And a few cold ones. Yeah, you need a few of those to make this seem worthwhile.
