Nice!Nice!Nice! What I really like is the hood treatment, and you added stops in the door jambs... something sooooo overlooked! How do you get your stacks so true? Are they mounted in holes made w/ a drill press?

Model building. Cheaper than paying a psychiatrist.

I want to build a model of my employer's '02 handicap transport. I had the die-cast, shipped it off to a certain caster. Wish I knew then what I know now about his reputation. Never saw it again. I think I bought another one, but it's downstairs in the jungle somewhere. Guess I will carve a buck for the hightop, and vac-u-form it. That was a nice van. Had a bench in the back; but the center was open for wheelchair tie-downs. The power lift ramp was a real rattler tho.

I thought it might be a vintage Ferrari, with no luck.

Ditto. This (person I know) entire second floor is stuffed with kits. Walls are stacked from floor to ceiling. The rest of that room is all shelves, also stacked up to the beams. Both levels of his two-car garage/barn are packed. You can park a car in each bay, but the walls are covered, except for a workbench. The staircase between the two barn floors is unpassable. In the main house, a few walls are covered. I would say about 1/3 of the open shelving in his kitchen is stuffed with Dupli-Color spray cans. His work bench is between the kitchen & living room. It too is surrounded with kits. A year ago January, I fell down his main staircase. Broke my ankle. Fortunately, his wall of kits, and boxes of spare parts prevented me from slamming into the wall. I remember picking up wheels and other parts off of myself, and the floor. I would say the house contains between 7000 to 10,000 kits. Now THAT'S a hoarder.

Not only was I a hoarder, but now I'm stuck with it. Because, ya'know, I just might need that one. And THAT one. And so on. So now half of my basement is jammed with model kits. What I don't have shelves for, they stay in storage boxes. So much shelfing hidden behind boxes... I cannot photograph it all.

I luv this place! Y'all put the FUN in dysfunctional.

Boy that is 100% awesome! I was given that same cab to build a ramp. Not likely to happen, but at least we have that one you built. Nice!

NEVER... NEVER... NEVER... throw away model parts! It goes against the model builders code. I have it written down here... somewhere... maybe under this pile? I dunno. It's somewhere around here.
