  1. Marcos, that is one sweet bird. You did good.
  2. Nice, showroom fresh Chevy! I assume you have, or had a car like this?
  3. Man, to live again in a time where each year brings a visual difference to each car! You rarely can tell the year of todays cars with a quick view.

    Mini One

    Nice job on the Mini!
  5. I remember seeing a similar 'toasted' Corvette in a model contest. The builder apparently wanted a 'victim' in the car, so they added a toasted human figure. Now I'm no CSI, but I never could figure out how a perfectly flat, prone victim could end up in the middle of a Corvette.
  6. If you scroll down the list that your post is on, you will find a thread called "What Did You Get Today?" That would be the best place for this.
  7. Where exactly are you? Boston? That's the Bunker Hill I know!
  8. My dad always said to me whenever I got a few dollars, "Money burning a hole in your pocket?"

    BMGatti

Wow! Ambitious! If I may note, the rear windows appear to be high up. A little higher, and they could be sunroofs. I doubt the driver could see what is behind him... but that is typical of many cars... Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc.
  10. On a related note, it's baffling to look at automotive kit auctions and find anything from aircraft to tank models. How can ppl be so stupid?
  11. Maybe make some from FIMO clay?
  12. Fantastic build as always, Jeff!
  13. I doubt there will ever be another in scale plastic!
  14. I always thought the heavy tread on the sidewall gave the tires a truck tire look. Sorry, I do not know which set, I just see heavy-handed tread engraving.
  15. Take whatever you want Jim! I don't mind. Happy hunting.
  16. With mention of Studebaker somewhere on the board, I thought I would share this album with Studes, and other racecars. Hope you enjoy. http://public.fotki.com/JCole/11-race-cars--trucks/11-race-cars-la-car/
  17. My wife gave me a mini tripod as part of a Christmas gift. She bought it at a dollar store. It broke before I could get the camera mounted to it... cheap plastic.
  18. I have plenty of scrap plastic, so although I have never tried it, I suspect that old credit and gift cards can be used as scrap plastic for scratch-building and fabricating. Everything from gas & brake pedals, suspension brackets, whatever you can think of, really.
  19. We're not going to see this until August at the earliest, are we?
  20. I have a Fotki file for automotive related logos, stickers, and signs: http://public.fotki.com/JCole/logos_signs__euro_plates/
  21. Photo looks straight up & a minimum (if any) retouching. Real.
