  1. As the title suggests, looking for feedback. Product Link
  2. What happened to the "Out of Box" Class? If it's in the box you can use it and do what you want with it.
  3. He did it for the same reason why dogs lick their privates...they can! They also do it for their own enjoyment and aren't seeking anyone's approval. ?
  4. Stirred, shaken adds bubbles.
  5. Old post, however has anyone tried 3M Car Body Wrap in Chrome? It's less than 100 microns thick and stretches.
  6. Kit number is helpful. I only see a 1999 New Tool of the '71 Charger.
  7. I'll say something about Revell, I'm still waiting for a decal sheet from 3 months ago. I even sent them a pic of the defect which showed clearly they cut it off too soon.
  8. Interested but I will not have anything to do with Facebook. Thanks anyway.
  9. The fact that their quality control is sub par, not sure I would give them another chance. I would just ask for a refund. This shouldn't be the customers liability to whether they stripped it correctly or not. The fact that they went ahead and chromed it tells me they were ok with the strip job.
  10. Build it to what makes you happy or it will become a chore and not a hobby. The only exception for me is if I'm building to compete.
  11. Your best bet would be to call Mike or Alex at MCW and ask them. You'll find Mike and Alex very helpful. 330-830-7755 They are in Ohio. Mon Closed Tue 12:00 pm – 06:00 pm Wed 12:00 pm – 06:00 pm Thu 12:00 pm – 10:00 pm Fri 10:00 am – 10:00 pm Sat 10:00 am – 10:00 pm Sun Closed
  12. I with you, I have retro video games worth hundreds sealed, I look at it tear of the shrink wrap, open it and take a deep whiff of the toxins that were sealed up and then play the game, drives my friends nuts. I do the same with model kits. I don't begrudge anyone collecting for the sake of collecting, it's just not me.
  13. Thank you all for the warm welcome. I am currently working on Revell's '65 Chevelle SS 396 Z-16 (Not MOPAR, but it sure had muscle but no traction). The kit looks great, lots of potential, unfortunately the quality of the plastic is seriously lacking. It appears to be recycled plastic like some manufacturers are doing to cut cost. I would rather pay extra than have to deal with soft, flaky plastic.
  14. Hello everyone, I have been building models since I was 6 years old. Mostly building military armor, some planes and ships. I started building model cars at 14 when my dad got his '71 Dodge Charger 500 Which he let me drive a couple of times and that got me hooked on MOPAR. Currently I am building 50's, 60's and 70's muscle cars factory stock from all manufacturers. I like to research the cars and the history surrounding them to get the build as accurate as I can even if it requires some scratch building or kit bashing. Looking forward to sharing in the experience of model car building. Ric
