Thanks guys. Much obliged. -
This was a kit that I built some time ago and didn't like how it turned out so it sat on the bench. I recently bought an M2 Steel kit of a 1957 Chevy Model 150 and it came with an extra set of wheels & tires and a blown engine. This was a 1/24 scale kit but looked a little on the big side so I thought I would just use the spare parts on the 55 Cameo to get it off the bench and on the shelf. It's kind of a goofy build with the oversized wheels & tires and engine. It was painted with Testor's red mixed 50/50 with Mr. Color Leveling Thinner then cleared with Tamiya X-22 Clear. The only other thing I did was make a distributor and wire the engine. There is no chassis so it was a quick build. I think it came out pretty kewl looking. Give me your thoughts fellows. Pretty slick looking little Hot Rod pickup. Better not let the guy holding the surfboard drive as he probably won't get far not being able to see where he's going ? -

After 24 hrs in the Easy Bake Oven the Tamiya X-22 clear seems pretty dry so I polished the body this morning. All the parts have been cleaned & painted and the assembly process has started. -
That's a different take on the paint color but I'm diggin it. Nice build. Very clean looking.
