  1. Great looking 49 Merc Surf Wagon. That Washi Tape looks good. That should work pretty good for the bed of a truck. Better tie down that surf board before you head to the beach.
  2. Nice looking build. I really like the color.
  3. Welcome to the forum John.
  4. In added a filter to the inlet of the fan on the back of my Dehydrator.
  5. Yeah.....I took the spray booth apart and gave it a good cleaning and put a new filter in. Should be fine I hope.
  6. I'm back on the 59 and decided to get some paint on the body yesterday. Ran into a problem right off so I stopped. I shut the paint booth down for cleaning and the body went into the purple pond. I'm headed to the Hobby Shop to get a fresh bottle of paint so I can start over. I have the body in the Dehydrator for a good drying before I spray it again.
  7. Thanks David. This was a nice build. On to the next one.

  19. Thanks David. Unusual color it is. It was a custom mix and didn't turn out just like I wanted but I like it.

  21. I'm calling this one done fellows. Under Glass: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/179143-1956-ford-pickup-pro-street/
  22. Finished this one up earlier this morning. This was a fun build and the second Revell 56 pickup Pro Street I've built but this one is a bit different. The engine came out of the AMT Hotwheels Monster Truck kit. Wheels & tires are from Jays Resin Wheels 1948. I airbrushed the wheels with the liquid chrome from a Molotow pen then dried in my Dehydrator to give a more Matte look. Body paint was a custom mix of Tamiya Black Green and Black. Paint and clear was all Tamiya products mixed 50/50 with Mr. Color Leveling Thinner. Polishing was with Meguiar's Mirror Glaze fine-cut Cleaner and Liquid wax. Hope you fellows like this one. As always, comments welcome. WIP: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/178608-56-ford-truck-pro-street/
