  6. I got a little work done. I now have a rolling chassis. Also did a mock up to make sure thing are fitting as they should.
  7. That's looking pretty good. I'm liking this one ?
  8. I've got a pack of those that I picked up at HL. I find that there to thick and not flexible enough.
  9. Thanks fellows. All the comments are much appreciated.
  10. Thanks for all the info fellows. Maybe I didn't word it right and that's my fault. I have a good process that i use and it works for me. I'm more interested in how you get into those tight spaces with sand paper like in the pic.
  11. What a good looking Buick Rich. Love that polished out plastic. Looks like it was painted. Nice build.
  12. Another good looking build Robert.
  13. That is pretty kewl looking Robert. Nice job.
  14. As an average model car builder I've been trying to step up my game on my paint jobs. I normally sand the body during prep, wet sanding after primer, wet sanding after top coat, wet sanding after clear coat, then polish a lot. My hat is off to you fellows that can wet sand and not burn through the paint. How in the heck do you fellows get around a body wet sanding and get into all those tight area's and those long edges. I've seen some really nice paint jobs on this forum and I just don't see how you guys do it. Help me out here fellows....what's your secrete???
  15. Pretty kewl looking Wagon. Nice job man.
  16. I gotta tell ya Tom, your 65 Poncho really caught my eye. Lots of eye candy and some great photos. Really nice build man ?

    59 El Camino

That's a pretty slick looking 59 El Camino. I have one in my stash that I've thought about building but just never got to it. Great job on a clean and quick respray.
  18. Boy, that is looking killer so far. Nice colors and detail work on the engine. I like the price on the box at $2.99.
  19. Your 60 Vette turned out really nice Greg. Nice looking color.
  20. Nice looking Willy's Gasser. Really love that color. Nice build.
  21. As meantioned the AMT 67 Chevelle Pro Street chassis or I've used the AMT 66 Nova Pro chassis. I've also seen some fellows use a chassis from one of the NASCAR kits. Once you start modifing you'll have to tweak things here and there to get parts to fit.
  22. I like the stance on your 40. I choose to use the stock chassis and cut out enough so I could fit those big ole meats under the fenders. Came out pretty good for a shelf queen.
  23. Welcome back to model building Alan. Your like a lot of us fellows on this forum, got back into model building once we retired.
  24. That's a pretty looking blue on that pickup Mario. Very nice looking build.
  25. Such a good looking little Hot Rod. Nice build.
