    Thanks John. Currently I'm only using Tamiya Acrylic paints through my airbrush as it's been working really well for me. The Tamiya X-10 Gun Metal that I sprayed on the 49 was not supposed to be a metallic or Mica but looking in the bottle it sure looks like it. Won't be using this paint again.

    Nice looking projects Bob and welcome back. I picked up the Matt & Debbie Hay's Pro Street Thunderbird about a month ago at a model car show.

    Welcome back to the hobby Joseph. I also flew RC planes for 45+ years. I was flying Giant scale before I got out of the hobby about 5 years ago. Lot of good ole boys here to give some Great tips on making a model look better.

    Thanks Tom. Yeah, that's why I personally don't like metallic paints. I'm setting here now looking at it trying to make up my mind on keeping it or sending it to the purple pond.

    Alright fellows....I wet sanded the body this morning and shot the Tamiya X-22 Clear on about an hour ago. I'm just not sold on this paint job. It's nice and shiny but for some reason it came out a little blotchy. It still needs a good polishing after it cures out for a few days.
