  1. Nice looking. The red & white looks nice. I've built a couple of these myself. Nice kit and you did a great job on yours.
  2. Nice looking 59. Great looking color and those wheels and tires are killer.
  3. That's one nice looking 50 Merc. Great stance and love those wheels & tires. Just has that Gangster look to it. Nice build.
  4. Looking good there Buddy. That color looks great.
  5. I got a little bench time this morning. I got the suspension installed and I'm not sure about the orange. I do like how the wire wrap worked out though. I did a spoon test to see how the paint is going to turn out. I primed all the spoons with Tamiya white primer, then sprayed two of them with Tamiya TS-30 Silver Leaf, then Tamiya TS-74 Clear Red. The spoon on the left has one coat of the Clear Red over the white primer only, the one in the middle has one coat of Clear Red over the Silver Leaf, and the spoon on the right has two coats of Clear Red over the Silver Leaf. The one on the far right is the one I'm shooting for.
  6. Very sharp looking Chevelle. That color pops against the white interior. Nice job on the white letters on the tires. Great looking model.
  7. Yeah, that's a kewl looking Woody. Nice color and the surf boards look nice. Great build.
  8. Thanks Dan. I can always paint spoons nicely. When it comes to the body something happens. I'm hoping for the best and expecting the worst.
  9. Welcome to the playhouse Lei. Bunch of good ol boys here with a lot of knowledge to share.
  10. A Hemi works for me Dave.
  11. Thanks Buddy.
  12. Thanks james. I did a spoon test and I'm going with the Tamiya TS-30 Silver Leaf base coat then TS-74 Clear Red over the Silver Leaf. I'm going with the darker color on the right. That is two coats of the Clear Red vs one coat on the left.
  13. Thanks a bunch Chris.
  14. It's 66° and the humidity is 32% so I decided to get the body in primer and get the chassis painted. Turned out pretty good.
  15. Thanks Steve. Much appreciated.
  16. Thanks Ed. Well, I you have to be a modeler to get through that one ☺
  17. Really like the color and those wheels & tires look pretty kewl. Nice job.

  22. Well Mario.....it was worth the wait. Very nice looking Mercury. That black looks great. Nice job.
  23. Good information Joe. Thanks.
  24. Hey James. You'll probably pass me on the build as this one will be slow. The wife has me painting the bathroom.
  25. Thanks for the info Dennis. I really want to keep the radiator on the back side of the support if at all possible but, we'll see how it goes.
