  1. The 33 Coupe is looking pretty sharp there John.
  2. Haha....Farmtruck & AZN. These boys really know how to street hustle for a fast buck Coming along nicely. Great project.
  3. Thanks Dave. Well....now comes the big question, foil or not to foil. With all the issues I've had recently I'm a little leary about the foil anymore.
  4. Boy oh boy, that 32 glue bomb turned out really nice. Nice work on that Weaver Auto Crane. Great looking little wrecker. Fantastic job.
  5. Thanks Carl. Yup, looking to keep it more of a classic cruiser.
  6. Good looking little Hot Rod and Dragster.
  7. Thanks. Boy, its been a while and I had to go out in the garage and take a look. The front end is stock except for the wheels and tires. On the dual wheels on the back I had to shave a little off the chassis for the inner wheels to clear. The outer wheels are in the stock location. The wheels & tires are out of the parts box.
  8. Thanks Buddy. Much appreciated.
  9. I got the engine wired this morning and did a mock up to see how things are fitting. I ended up using the short block from the Buick engine that came in the kit. I found a dual carb setup with a low profile intake that fits and will allow me to close the hood. The 312 "Y" block and the 396 BB I test fitted were just to tall. I did not want to cut a hole in the hood. Still have some detail work to do on the engine and engine bay but things are looking good.
  10. That's going to be a pretty kewl little build. Nice start there Buddy.
  11. This should be a pretty kewl challenge RRR. I built this re-issed kit a few months back and boy was it a real challenge. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.
  12. Thanks for the kind words there Buddy. The Tamiya Acrylic paint seems to work really well with the Mr. Color Leveling Thinner mixed 2:1.
  13. Thanks Dave. I think it came out pretty nice. Thanks. I appreciate the comments.
  14. Thanks man. I appreciate it.
  15. That is one fine looking pickup. Love that Hemi engine in the business end.
  16. Nice looking Wildcat. Great looking color.
  17. Thanks Richard.
  18. Thanks Buddy. Yeah, I decided to use the short block of the Buick engine that came in the kit with a dual quad setup I found in the parts box.
  19. I appreciate it Kyle. Thanks.
  20. Boy, that Olds 442 is coming along James. Nice work.
  21. Nice. Those Zimmerman wheels & tires are going to wake up that 53 Chevy. Looks good.
  22. I got out in the garage this morning to make a decision on a clear coat or not. I made an executive decision to just polish the paint like I did on my 30 Ford Coupe since it came out nice. The paint almost has a metallic look to it depending on the light. Comments welcome on my decision.
  23. Thanks Dave. I've still got a ways to go and some decisions to make.
  24. That's a pretty kewl setup you got there. I like the shot of the two Willy's at the line. Looks great.
