  1. Couple of nice looking rides. Well done.
  2. Thanks man.
  3. Yeah buddy. A few cold ones will get the job done ?
  4. Nice looking Willy's.
  5. The 40 Willy's is looking pretty sharp there Buddy.
  6. I prefer the full fender version but these are kewl too. Never tried the Tamiya acrylic paint. I'll be thinning it with the unicorn tears.
  7. Should build up like the 29.
  8. I have a question fellows. I've been using an 8 Gallon 125 psi air compressor I bought at Harbor Freight some years ago. While air brushing the pressure will drop 3-5 psi depending on how long I stay on the button. The regular came with the unit. What do I need to help keep a more steady air pressure?
  9. You know how modeling works James. If it doesn't fit, we make it fit. You'll get it Buddy.
  10. Thanks for the info Craig.
  11. I pulled this kit out of the stash and thought I would give it a go. I have all the parts cleaned up and all flash removed (which wasn't much) and ready for paint. I have a couple choices I can go with in the Tamiya line of paint. I have the LP-6 Laquer Pure blue, X-14 Acrylic Sky Blue, and the X-22 Clear. I like the color of the Sky Blue and have yet to try Tamiya's Acrylic paint threw my air brush. For you guys that have already built this kit, can I glued the top on and paint as one unit or does the top need to stay off until further in the build?
  12. I decided to go with Rust-Oleum Red Oxide primer. I'll hit it with a matt clear then add some racing decals.
  13. Nice looking Coupe. Thanks for the info.
  14. Thanks Carl. Yeah, I still have a lot to do yet.
  15. Great build. I really like that HOK sunrise pearl. The 34 Ford looks Great. Gotta love those fat fenders.
  16. Thanks James. Same here, the 50 Chevy pickup was my first attempt back into the hobby, so I tore it down to build this wrecker.
  17. The 39 wrecker is looking pretty good. I like the two tone color on the wrecker your going to replicate.
  18. NIce looking do far. I love these body styles with the fat fenders. That Gunmetal color looks pretty sharp.
  19. Thanks Kenneth. I could not get the frame back together exactly straight so there is no telling how the front end is going to fit.
  20. Thanks James. I've been a little stalled out on this build.
  21. Heres the bottom of one of my 29's. You have to make sure the engine is on the two mounts or things up front won't line up then check out what's going on either the tailshaft.
  22. That Yellow is going to be pretty kewl James.
