  1. Good looking Willys. Love the color combo. Great detail work on the business end. Nice job.
  2. Haha....thanks Claude.
  3. Your 32 is looking pretty sharp. I like the Hot Rod black and the interior color.
  4. Thanks man. Good to be back. Both my kits went together well, even the one I modified into a Pro Street.
  5. Nice looking 34 Mario. Clyde liked the fords because they were faster. I think he even send Henry Ford a letter saying so.
  6. Thanks John. I appreciate the kind words.

  12. Welcome aboard. Nice looking models.
  13. James, I'm also using 30 AWG wire. I go to ACE hardware and buy some of their old beige phone line. It's less than a buck a foot. Peel the beige outer skin off and it has yellow, black, red, and green wires inside. I strip off what I need from one of the wires and use that as the boots for my plug wires. They are a little hard to fit onto the 30 AWG wire so I run a needle in the end to spread it open. Hope this helps man.
  14. Your double nickel turned out great James. I like the green. Nice job.
  15. Good looking 53 Jim. Love the color combo. Just finished a hardtop myself a few weeks back.
  16. That's a good-looking little Chevy there Mario. Nicely done man.
  17. Sweet looking little Roadster Steve. Well done.
  18. Very kewl looking ride there Luke. Really nice detail work as usual.
  19. The 56 Ford pickup is looking pretty sweet there James. The paint looks pretty kewl man. I've built 2 of these kits and have another in my stash.
  20. Thanks Andrew.
  21. I decided it was time to pull out the Revell 51 Henry J Gasser I bought late last year. I've gotten a lot of the work done already since I've been away from the forum for a while. The front clip consisted of 7 pieces and was not an easy task to get lined up. Getting the rear end squared up was a chore to say the least. With the rear end glued in place and looking good it was time to get the doors and flip hood lined up. Next I'll need to get that doors and flip hood aligned. I did a little mockup to make sure the rear tires are fitting good and I like what I see.
  22. This is the AMT 1955 Chevrolet Cameo Pickup Truck that I painted last year. This is a stock build except for the wired distributor. The paint is Anita's Cafe Au Lait acrylic paint, and it was cleared with Rust-Oleum Crystal Clear Lacquer. The interior was painted with Valspar red primer and cleared with Rust-Oleum Matt clear. This kit had some fit issues and despite everything I read about the glass not fitting the body, mine seem to fit pretty good.
  23. This is the AMT 1953 Ford Victoria. I changed my mind mid-stream and decided to go with a white top. The green paint is Anita's Dew Green acrylic paint and the white top in Rust-Oleum flat white primer. It was cleared with Rust-Oleum Crystal Clear gloss acrylic lacquer. The interior was painted with the same Dew Green and Gloss white Anita's acrylic paint. All the chrome trim is bmf. Pretty much box stock except for the plug wires. This was a great kit and it came out super nice. WIP: *1953 Ford Victoria* - WIP: Model Cars - Model Cars Magazine Forum
