  1. Nice looking Tom. The color looks good. I just finished one up a couple weeks ago.
  2. Thanks Claude.
  3. I have them both completed but not confident that the foil will stay on. Especially the little stars.
  4. To cold to be out in the garage this morning (-2 degrees wind chill) so I'm trying to do a little foil work on the door panels in the house. It is not going good. Once again the foil is not sticking. If I blow are I can blow the foil off the little stars. So frustrating.
  5. They do look a little funky. I think there was some aftermarket tail fin trim available for the Shoebox back in the day.
  6. You've got a good run at this one so far. Nice work.
  7. Yup. Saw it at HL once and didn't get it but when I saw it for the second time I picked one up. Haven't seen them since.
  8. Nice looking James. I've tried to scribe the door panel lines and if I try to scrib it deep enough the blade seems to slip out and I mess up the body or I don't get it deep enough and I can't see it after the final paint. Seems like a lot of stuff is hit or miss for me. Any way.....the ol Hot Rod is coming together and looking good.
  9. They all look great but I really like the little red coupe with the nice looking fenders. Great job.
  10. The paint on your VW looks really nice. You say you painted it with Rust-Oleum but the pic of the Ivory paint can is Krylon.
  11. Never was a big fan of the soccer mom rides but that looks pretty kewl. Nice job.
  12. Thank's Greg. Yeah I think it's going to look pretty sharp once it all goes together.

    SPECIAL DELIVERY

Nice looking UPS delivery truck and a nice hot little number that's driving it. Nice touch with all the mods. Great job.
  14. This is my best paint job to date and this is about as good as it's going to get for me. This was painted with Rust-Oleum flat white primer and cleared with Tamiya clear pearl. I've tried all the different flavors of craft acrylic paints, Testors enamel, Tamiya Acrylics & lacquers through my air brush, and a host of different brands of rattle cans. The one thing I do know for sure that works very well for me every time is the Rust-Oleum 2X gray & white Flat primers. I've come to terms with I'm never going to get that mirror finish paint job and I'm ok with that.
  15. Thanks for the input Chris.
  16. Now that's a good looking old school cop car. Great job. That back seat looks familiar ?
  17. Boy that's a Looker Michael. I like the black wheels and headers. Nicely done.

  19. Boy your 56 is looking nice John.
  20. Thank's Bill. We'll see when I get it all painted and the foil on.
  21. Thanks Jim. I'm hoping I have enough foil left that will stick.
  22. Nice looking drag car.
  23. Good looking Thunderbolt. I'd like to have one of these kits to build.
  24. Kewl looking ride. Nicely done.
