  1. The build is looking good. It's starting to get an additude.
  2. I use to work in the automotive industry until I retired a year ago. We did all injection molding and the "Knockout Pin" would pop the part off the mold to make it easier for the operator or the robot to reach in and pull the part off the mold. Inspectors would reject parts that had the "Knockout Pin" marks. Guess it's not that important in the modeling world.
  3. Nice pics. Thanks for posting. I really enjoy looking at all the kewl rides.
  4. Since I have a 1949 5 window I had this storage shed find bookmarked and go back and watch it from time to time.
  5. I saw that HL carries the 0.5mm tip. Is that the size you use?
  6. WOW.....that 56 is just bad to the bone. The colors really pop. It's a looker man.
  7. Nice looking little Hot Rod you got there Steve. Love that color.
  8. Yup.....very kewl story and great looking trucks. I'm kinda parcal to the AD trucks as I have a 1949 5 window Restomod 1:1.
  9. Looking pretty sharp so far Scott. I like your 123 blocks. I retired a year ago and was a CMM programmer. I used them all the time on my setups.
  10. Thanks for posting the video Carl. I like watching old barn finds.

  14. I like the color choices for your Challenger. Looking good so far.
  15. Well Maxx.....you might as well get onboard and shoot Reveal and email for a replacement.
  16. Pretty slick looking Honda. That midnight purple looks great.
  17. Nicely done. Love the old fat fender coupes.
  18. I think your right Chang. Thanks for the info.
  19. I originally had the body painted with Testors Red but after close inspection I noticed "X's" on the body and a "dot" on both sides of the body. I striped the body, sanded, and repainted it again. Still had the "dots" on both sides of the body. I striped it again and this time painted it with Anita's acrylic paint. I no longer see the "X's" or "dots" but the paint just looks funny to me. I have two of these kits and had the same results with the second body as well. I'm not stripping it again. It is what it is. The last two pics is the final paint job without clear.
  20. James. I'd go ahead and contact Revell anyway. If you do repair the one you have then you'll have and spare for the parts box.
  21. Haha.....guess I did. I was just looking at a fellows Vette so I guess I still had it on my mind.
  22. That looks super sharp. Great detail work on the engine. Paint looks great.
  23. Nice looking GT 500. What paint and clear did you use on the body?
  24. Good looking Vette.
  25. Nice looking Vette. That white looks Super clean. Great job.
