Here are some pics of my soon to be Boss. I am converting an old AMT 1/43 Mustang to a Boss 302 Trans Am racer piloted by Peter Revson mods include dropping the ride height adding a chin spoiler which actually is a rear deck spoiler that came from a Modifiers 2000 or so Mustang, wheels are from Tron, tires are from scrap box decals that are going to be used are from Patto's Place and are fantastic! Also have to fill in shoulder scoops as Boss cars did not have them.

NO not that again good grief that was too much! But seriously though hopefully folks are building!!

That green is awesome it reminds me of the green on some of the old Hot Wheels cars of the late 60's early 70's!! The pearl orange is great too!!

Actually most of the stock suspension parts are in that version just absolutely no refernce to them in the instructions.

This is kinda like Porsche! Most people pronounce it Porsh but I was told at a race that i was shooting for a mag and mind you this was a rep from Porsche who in his best broken English and in no uncertain terms as I had evidently mispronounced it, it is pronounced Porsch-uh!

Darin you have my deepest sympathy for your loss and my thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Please take comfort in knowing that she no longer suffers and she will always still watch over you and your family. Also when you do something silly and you feel something on the back of your head and no one is around you can smile and know she is there.

Quite sometime ago in a mag somewhere there was tutorial on cutting the roof from the old AMT kit and mating it the Monogram kit. Does anyone remember this and where I might find it?

I can speak from experience as a Head Judge for several years at the Kalamazoo AirZoo contest that in each catagory we had an award for best OOTB but in order to be considered for OOTB the model must be accompanied by the instruction sheet. Models in any given catagory are generally considered to depict a particular 1:1 subject so that is why one might see a an OOTB of the Revell Merc and one that someone went all out on. Just my .02 pennies!
