  3. Here are a couple of mine in 1/72
  4. Some issues of the AMT 56 and 57 Fords had them. You could always take stock steelies and Alclad them! The Amigo pack of the 1/24 Monogram 32 Roadster has some also.
  5. Beautiful job!! Who makes the kit?
  6. Very Kool Kat!! I am by nature a snake fan however Cats are cool too!! Nice work!
  7. As a past head IPMS judge I say go for it but if you are skeptical do like RoadHawg said use a thick dolup of paint to make it larger.
  8. At least with the yard tools when the neighbhor borrows them and doesn't return them for a spell you can always say " you know thats mine right" ........LOL
  9. Looks great so far! obviously you have engine done but i have some reference pics I will dig out for others wanting to build. Keep us posted!!
  10. Thanks for your thoughts gang, It was appreciated.
  11. I do like the new 48 Ford and the Merc. kits but the extras are also more inline with period styling ques. I am talking more inline about the old 1/24 re issues I guess it started back when they repopped the 55 Ford p/u and put the billet upgrades in the kit, but I guess I am just an Old Shool hot rodder that believes in mechanical fuel pumps and carbuerators are the coolest way to go. Oh goodness those are bad! I have an original 1964 issue of the kit and would like to see all those parts back!. I also realize they are following trends but if they are going to tool the new parts why not leave the old parts in too. However just curious what others think as most of the fellas in the clubs I belong to are kinda like me with their train of thought.
  12. OK, am I just old or do others not like the current trend of oversized wheels in rods? Case in point would be the 1/24 Monogram 30 Woody and 36 Ford kits, while I am very happy about seeing these kits back out and new parts like in the Woody but c'mon wouldn't it be nice to see the Halibrands back in the 36 instead of the other wheels or even the old mags or the slots from the 29 p/u. The same for the the Boss 429 Mustang and some of the other vintage Monogram 1/24 kits. Ok I am done lets see where this goes.
  13. The Revell 31 Woody has a couple also.
  14. I will be there several club members get together it is a hoot!
  15. Keep us posted!! I like where this is going!!
  16. Thanks Sean!
  17. Hey guys, Does anyone know of a short rear spoiler for the AMT 70 1/2 Camaro? Trying to replicate a friends car.
  18. Hey Gregg, Maybe a subdued gold pinstripe as it would be nice with the rootbeer color. Then white wall tires with a thin gold stripe!
  19. Well by being on the water would explain why Da Big Kahuna has one already as is in the middle of the water......LOL
  20. Congrats and if unsure about the Shelby wellllll I wouldn't want ya to pitch it out so I suppose I could take it off your hands
  21. Sometimes for the right kit or kit that has parts you need ya gotta take a chance
  22. I likey!!
  23. Build it and make him proud!! Just remember to take your time as it is very fiddly at best. However a very nice model can be built from it. It is like all other IMC kits they were very over engineered.
  24. Very cool keep posting! and building too
  25. Ooo and it has a Ford engine too!!
