    I picked up a few things while in Chi-town Yesterday I bought a 1/43 Thundersport Daytona Coupe kit a Spark Pantera then we went to Al's and Venture hobby shops and I picked up a Fred Cady decal set for the Monogram Scarab,a 1/32 Linberg T bucket and few 1/43 detail items

    Another option for an FE is the one in the Monogram 1/24 Cobra(change out oil pan and Cobra valve covers) or the one in the Monogram Talledega Torino. These make nice versions and is 1/24 and the best part is you can call it what ever you want as for the most part all FE's looked the same on the outside!

    Just a tad lower as remember it was the 60's and a shoebox hotrod even for the Cannonball would most likely have some rake. Just my .02 pennies!

    One thing nice is that if you can score the Revell and Fujimi kits cheap enough you can kitbash and have the best of both worlds as the Revell kits are full detail and the Fujimi ones are curbside.

    Well I got the roll cage done, also the body is ready for primer I had to add a strip of styrene to replace the upper winshield molding. Will post pics tomorrow it was getting late and I have a long day today.

    Just the other night I was working on my 1/43 mustang and a couple other things and b4 I knew it it was 4am and I had to be up at 7am it made for a very long day!

    Very sad indeed! RIP Davy. A real sad thing is now when the Monkee's get together there will only be two as Mike Nesmith won't perform with them in public anymore.

    I have that version and the it is molded in the turquois that is on the box top. I also had the box autographed by Darryl Starbird when he was at the Detroit Autorama a couple yrs back.
