Yup, made that point myself earlier in the thread, in case you missed it. My 5% accounts for their complete omission.

Awesome! Think I'll go so far as to commit to my prediction now: a Hemi R/T on Rallyes/blank Polyglas tires with the full-width rear trim & pimpin' black "HEMI" hood stripes on the decal sheet. Gut gives me about 85% probability on that. 95% on separate covers for the door scoops.

Maybe there'll be another shifter on the next rear bumper tree to go with the console? Still doesn't address the 4-spd hump issue...

Wow, so those ARE LS's, then. I got one of my own, thought it was the greatest thing since Eva Green's film debut - IN A CHEVROLET. But in a MoPar?? NoSar! Guess the camera doesn't care, 'n they wuz probably cheap crate motors. "The Sweater", I'm cryin' here...

There's a tree sure looks as if it has I-beams, but there's another just by the tires has two solid axles on it, one with an offset differential. Boxcover illustration, possibly a very heavily retouched shot of the model, also has a differential visible up front. Trailing arms, maybe? -
Aoshima Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4

Yup, mystifies me too. I think the Aoshima LP400 is the blue-ship gold-standard most accurately proportioned 1/24 Countach ever done, and I thought there was online literature somewhere that LiDAR was involved. According to knowledgeable others, that area might not have gotten enough attention in the 3D modeling... -

The lower border of the side window intake is an exaggerated bevel where it joins the rear fender. Bit o' putty, swipes of a file maybe. What'll take much more finesse to correct is the way the front fender crimps into the leading edge of the door. That transition is much smoother and more blended on the 1:1, and from some angles, Aoshima's treatment looks like body damage. The side view mirror will cover it from some vantages and generally draw the eye away, but this area will require some careful work if you really want it right. -
Now THAT is what I would call beautiful. I just like the DLO and drip molding sweep so much better on the Arrow...

Just gonna leave these right here, in case any of you wants to know before you buy... -
Yup. Car-to-car variance also opens up a little license for Revell in this case, which makes it all the more impressive to me that the base kit seems so solid. Getting more and more excited about what it portends for the next version. Got another car I hafta paint black, might just rotate this one up with it...

Oh no. If Revell follows its typical m o, I'd guess Spring or Summer of 2017 for the next version. And while we have no guarantees, I'd bet on the full-width R/T taillight treatment for that one, thanks to the F&F parts arrangement. One thing to keep in mind about the movie cars is that there was probably a number of 'em for each flick. Some may have had '70 taillights and reflectors and others may not. That would probably account for why there are none visible in one still, while they're clearly there perhaps in another scene.

OH, and the new Chiron is considerably less an eyesore than the Veyron. Plastic please.

Know what, mark me up as another for a boattail Riv. Just perused that thread 'n yeah, we gotta have one. That age-old Bronco itch is finally gettin' scratched, and this makes just as much sense. 250 Lusso, vintage 1600/2002 and 3.0CS/CSL are criminally overdue, ALL of 'em.

Only question I'd have about that - they may be wrong for a '70, but are they necessarily wrong for the F&F car? The picture I put up from the movie on page three seemed to show a decent match. Aftermarket pieces? Main thing has me wondering right now - 'cause I'm too lazy to Google it just yit - is the rear wheelhouse arches, which are pretty changed from the relative match between MPC and Revell '69s. Wondering how those compare to 1:1 ref pix...

One-sided detail on sidewalls? Don't think that's likely. Hope not. I've long lost track of otherwise nice builds with directional tires pointed the wrong way. Sometimes from side to side. -
Alas, Charlie, I think that if they were looking at a 318 car, we wouldn't have gotten the R/T grille. That part seems to show where R/M's heart really is on this tooling. So the kit's split for the lower front valence is prototypical, according to Gerald's pic? Cool!
