  1. Thanks Bob. The gold didn't turn out as good as I wanted, it's not very smooth. And I completely overlooked the parting lines on the C pillar. I went back and tried to sand them out and re-spray it and put another light coat all over. Looks better, but I didn't get all the lines out. I'm going with it though.
  2. Yea, after doing more research it seems most agree that manifold vacuum will give better performance than ported carb vacuum. Not really important on the build, the distributor has the advance and since I'm wiring it, I though I may as well run a line off it. I'm building it as a street custom per the kit. I'll run it to the manifold/tunnel ram.
  3. Another nice one Michelle.
  4. Nice. Well done.
  5. Very nice Mario. Great color combo.
  6. Looking good Bob. Where did you get the frame?
  7. This is the manifold, I guess it would be a tunnel ram. It has a plenum that goes on top, then the carbs. I've got a distributor that I will wire up and it has the vacuum advance on the side and so I thought I would run a hose off it.
  8. I've built this one. It was molded in a blue/green color. Built it as a Pro Street.
  9. Oh yeah, nice Nomad. Great work.
  10. Beautiful Chevelle Mike. Stance is right on. 66 is my favorite year Chevelle.
  11. On a high rise manifold with plenum and 2 carbs where would the vacuum line from the distributor advance be connected. The manifold, plenum, one of the carbs? This is on a 455 Buick engine.
  12. Still waiting on paint to finish this one. Should be here next week. I put the hood together and made sure it fit ok, so it's ready for the paint.
  13. Thanks. That's one I saw on ebay. May pick one up. Looks like a nice kit. Also saw a 32 Ford.
  14. What are the AMT Pro Shop model kits, how are they different from the regular kits. I see some that has the body already painted and finished.
  15. Thanks. Thanks.
  16. I use a small dot of super glue, give it a few seconds to get tacky then hold the mirror in place with tweezers for a few more seconds. I have also used Mod Podge, it is very tacky after a few seconds.
  17. Sweet looking little hot rod. Great work.
  18. Fine looking Nova. Nice work.
  19. That is a cool looking Impala. Great work.
  20. Looks good Michelle. Nice work.
  21. Gold is on the body..............
  22. Looks great Bob. Nice interior. Here's a song for you.........
  23. Yes they are. It usually takes about 4-5 days for me to get my order from them including processing. I'm just a little over 200 miles from Atlanta.
  24. Got primer on the body, Mr. Surfacer 1000., hope to get the color on tomorrow. Engine is ready for wiring.
  25. I've never saw that kit. It looks good in yellow.
