  1. Last stage of the dodge charger RT came in. Giant acrylic case to put together.
  2. Dang that sucks man. Was this straight from zoomon or from another site? Everything I’ve always ordered from zoomon I always got, and they always add free stuff.
  3. Thanks man! It looks pretty good, but I made a lot of rookie mistakes. 2K job could be much better, amongst some other things. Instead of binning it I told myself I was gonna finish her on up. Didn’t want the rest to go to waste, as my first attempt at “weathering” to lol.
  4. Took BD money, and did another plaza Japan order. Unfortunately the GT R box got damaged from water from damaged box. Thanks fedex ?
  5. Shouldn’t be a big concern because it’s silly. It’s just a bit extra - like what’s the point? So incase we missed you from the back? We got you from the front? Or incase you lose one you got a spare? lol
  6. I would never put matching plates on both ends or live in those states lol. I don’t even really like seeing random oddball goofy tags in the front of vehicles. Maybe I’m just weird?
  7. Straight from Hong Kong we got some US license plates. Wish they had only my state though, but it is what it is. Nicer than kit stuff. Not sure why there calling them stickers cause it’s actual decals.
  8. Picture making it look thicker than it really is. Only 4 coats with last coat being thinned more. One of my better 2K jobs with no orange peel just few dust specs, and now this fisheye issue. Can that spot be sanded carefully, and re cleared? Or we’re talking about a complete redo? If so I’m just gonna sand, compound etc as normal.
  9. So I didn’t see this while clear coating, but noticed it after the 2K was drying for a bit. Did this happen being too impatient between coats or somehow something was on the paint of the hood, and I didn’t notice it or something? Just wanna figure this out for non future mistakes. This actually first time this has happened as well.
  10. Happy birthday ? ?. Mines today, and I’m taking the BD money I’ll be getting, and doing another big plaza Japan order. Sadly working right now on my BD… sigh Pepsi life.
  11. Yeah never expected so many MAY babies here lol. Happy BD to you too ???
  12. I know I said earlier few pages back my kit funds were low…….and they are, but this deal was too good to pass up on winning bid on eBay. Just the PE alone is worth half what I paid. $58 sold n shipped. Box is a little worn, but kit is fully intact.
  13. That booth a little lacking far as exhaust power goes, but it may be work okay. Just be sure to have extra window or two open if in closed doors.
  14. Use to read a lot of this guys stuff back before i got into the hobby. Would actually find his posts just searching on google for specific things. Didn't know him at all, but sucks he's gone. What in the world happened?
  15. Well when stock runs out I know who to look for ?. I seriously forgot to get one of these, but my model kit funds are dry right now.
  16. Well my wallet hates me, but these bad boys came in today. I wasn’t expecting them till Monday. All the way from Japan from my favorite Japan hobby shop Plaza Japan. Not my biggest order from them, but the 1/12 Porsche made up half of the order.
  17. Yeah Scalehobbyist is awesome. I support them a lot.
  18. Went back out of town, and figured I’d check out HL. They were a disappointment as always. Found these two at hobby town cheap so I snatched them.
  19. What’s your plan with all of these?
  20. Dang the pursuit already out. Hopefully my main shops or hobby lobby gets them.
  21. Sweet! Definitely gonna pick up that 60 F-100. Thank you.
  22. I use a combination of two products when I'm dealing with chrome, and the process works every single time. I use 100% lye that you can buy from Ace hardware, walmart, lowes etc that is what removes the fake chrome that is what is in a lot of these products like "Easy off" 5% lye. The 2nd product i use is something i stubbled on when hunting for a paint remover product, but to my surprise it removes the chrome underlayer varnish with ease. 5-10 mins depending on how thick the varnish is. Sadly it's hard to find, but there is another alternative as well, and a little cheaper as well. It's called Odenkan SC-02 paint remover $10 for 500mL. The picture is of the 2nd product i was talking about.
