  1. So I was getting ready to spray color onto bronco tonight, but something told me to test on a mule, and boy I’m I glad I did. So airbrush of choice is iwata eclipse as usual, and airbrush works perfectly fine up until I started testing out this new color. I assumed my airbrush was acting up even though my primer session went perfectly fine. So the issue is the paint sprays fine, but as you spray it tiny droplets of paint spots land on the finish as you paint. So thinking my airbrush is acting up I go to changing out parts, and testing after each part I change out. New needle packing, new needle, new nozzle, new O ring. After all that the paint continues to put tiny droplets onto the surface as I paint. So after hours of testing I tried another color, and paint perfectly fine, and retested primer as well which paint’s perfectly fine. So is it a bad batch of paint? I’m just wanting to know before I let James know my situation to try, and get a replacement bottle if possible.
  2. Those straps in the 2nd pic on the trailer - what aftermarket brand are those or did you make em yourself? I've seen a set like that before, but don't remember where.
  3. Got some primer on the ole 2021 Bronco. More clean up than I'd expected on a newly tooled kit, but i go into a AMT kit with 50/50 standards.
  4. These are all my current kits minus couple near work bench. Only got so much space in this apartment lol so lot of these are front to back. Recent kits I've purchased have been the Moebius batman bat-pod, and tumbler, and a new gundam kit.
  5. Last time i went to Michaels to see kits i chuckled...walked away.
  6. This came in today. Haven’t used it yet, but have held it, and feels pretty good in the hand. $54 after 20% off so to good to pass up. Definitely doesn’t feel as good in my hand as iwata though. Had to see what all the hype is about.
  7. I’ve showed this off before, but this is what I use to hold engines etc.
  8. That may be true, but people still purchase these kits off eBay Ollie’s tag or not. Lot of sellers will use a marker to mark out the price on the Ollie’s tag as if people are idiots! But there’s probably people out there that’s never seen an Ollie’s tag before.
  9. Had got around to rewatching the Batman trilogy in 4K, and in the 2nd movie with the tumbler reminded me of moebius. I had forgot they produced these kits, as I own the new Batman car they had put out. So found these with a good deal on eBay.
  10. No model related stuff, but got this for Christmas.
  11. Those are nice. The dspiae’s might look similar to godhands(red handle), but there not the same at all. Now the blue handle godhands are even thinner. Basically red pair is for cutting the nub, and blue pair is for clean up. The main use for that method was towards gunpla, but lots of methods from other similar hobbies have made there way to model cars. All these single blade nippers do a great job cutting the nub, with a clean cut (no stress mark) leaving minimum clean up if any at all if used properly. A little sanding afterwards can save from having a $120+ in two pair of nippers though.
  12. The black one belongs to batman
  13. Nothing beats the GODHAND nippers. But what you should of done when cutting the dashboard off was use the blue pair to cut the gate, and than use the dspiae's from the side to cleanly cut the nub off. There not meant to cut thick sprue (such as gates), and you can easily damage the thin blades.
  14. Funny this is a post because i was actually looking at this kit myself. These two versions are the same just different box. I believe the lighting F-150 is the same as well besides the "lightning" options. The red version here is original release i think 91, and the 2nd box art was released in 95 with that new box.
  15. Got this stuff. Got the bel air just for the rims to use on the 88 ford mustang GT by AMT.
  16. Wish i could help, but all i can do is follow. I own a ton of there PE sets for trucks, but i haven't used any of it either. The instructions can be a little vague so i agree with you on that one, but the set you got doesn't seem too bad once you get in the right direction.
  17. Love it. I was just eye balling the calsonic skyline at hobby town today, but I didn’t get it ?
  18. Looks awesome man. Did the hood come warped a little though or something else going on?
  19. Promised myself I’d never buy another MPC kit…Still haven’t broke that promise lol.
  20. I can't say for sure that the humidity caused that issue, but 85 is way to high. I'm not sure how you even sit in that to even paint lol. Certainly need to get your painting area a little more controlled, and get the humidity down though. 85% there's a ton of moisture in the air, and the best way to combat that is a dehumidifier. 30%-55% is ideal living conditions. What's your humidity when it's not raining?
  21. Good to know because i own this kit. So if mine is that bad i wont even waste my time on just use it for a paint mule.
  22. How is the quality? I know they released another version of this bus as well.
  23. Went back to Ollie’s, and found these in a different section.
