  1. With AMTs 64 olds back out again, does anyone know where I can find the altered wheelbase body? It seems like some guys have made copied but I can't find any currently. Thanks
  2. Thanks for the kind words, the ramp truck is testors yellow and the gmc is LA colors nail polish, both topped off with Mr hobby UV clear
  3. Cosori from Amazon, 65 bucks and has temp and time on it. Works great, just a little big
  4. And I just bought a piranha to steal the chassis too! Haha
  5. Car looks good man, I'm really worried about the recoating window, in case I'd have to recoat or repair like you did. Last year I got back into the hobby after a 13 year break and I've been using Mr hobby UV clear and have been really happy with it but wanted to try this stuff. At least I ruined a coke cooler lid instead of a whole body
  6. This is my 72 Chevy racers wedge converted to a short bed GMC using a Harts parts grille and the old 72 GMC chassis. Pardon the misalignment of the trim between the bed and the cab. It seems like if you line up one thing, something else doesn't. I was pretty close to shaving all the trim off. I just went for something in between
  7. Tamiya TS-60 pearl Green
  8. Thanks for the reply, I saw the can say 48 hours but was wondering if I should go even longer
  9. Thank you! The only time I got mr hobby to cloud up was when I was spraying by a pot of steamy water, it cleared up when I took it away though
  10. I tried tamiya clear once, and it took almost a whole can for a 63 impala. Here in hawaii, Mr hobby UV is about 17 bucks a can, burbankshouseofhobbies is about 13, and ballzanos on ebay is about 11
  11. Anyone use this stuff before? I did this ranchero and the coke cooler but after 24 hour dry time I put some molotow on the cooler lid and it lifted the paint. Maybe I should wait longer? Looks amazing though
  12. I've been using their UV cut clear for a few months now and I really like it. And it handles humidity better than testors These trucks are not buffed
