  1. I mostly worry about ugly/ incorrect style tires, since I've heard some complaints about the 1/16 vega ones
  2. You're better off using the revell 78
  3. He used the amt 66 nova chassis
  4. I've heard about the hardtop but I really hope you're right!
  5. I think mooneyes should have something you can use
  6. This is one of those clears that you gotta do everything within 2 hours or wait "48" although I think it has to be more I do your method with Mr hobby UV clear, however
  7. I'm afraid of BMF. Ive been using molotow for a while now,, but normally over mr hobby or testors lacquer clear. Maybe one day I'll get fed up and try. Just got back into the hobby last year and been trying to learn and do new things
  8. So this body was drying for about 4 days, half the time in a dehydrator. I ran some molotow on the inside of the body and it was good, so I painted on the trim and this happened. This 1k stuff is pretty good paint, its just that I can't wait 2 weeks or however long it'll take to do my trim work
  9. It doesn't craze styrene.. well, I shot it over a bare / poorly prepped revell body and it looked pretty good
  10. I saw a bunch of their old wire wheels on an Instagram post from modelroundup yesterday
  11. Have you considered the monogram f250 and the older monogram cab?
  12. The chevelle kit does say 2 n 1 ?
  13. These cars all all shot with nail polish cut about 50% with lacquer thinner. Here in hawaii its harder to get nice colors, just use a good primer. Tamiya or duplicolor primer sealer works good for me Revlon and CVS brand nail polish seems to lay pretty good. Haven't tried OPI and Essie yet
  14. The revell 68 charger has some too, although not pictured on the box
  15. I only caught this little piece on the Model Roundup Instagram
  16. With AMTs 64 olds back out again, does anyone know where I can find the altered wheelbase body? It seems like some guys have made copied but I can't find any currently. Thanks
  17. Thanks for the kind words, the ramp truck is testors yellow and the gmc is LA colors nail polish, both topped off with Mr hobby UV clear
  18. Cosori from Amazon, 65 bucks and has temp and time on it. Works great, just a little big
  19. And I just bought a piranha to steal the chassis too! Haha
  20. Car looks good man, I'm really worried about the recoating window, in case I'd have to recoat or repair like you did. Last year I got back into the hobby after a 13 year break and I've been using Mr hobby UV clear and have been really happy with it but wanted to try this stuff. At least I ruined a coke cooler lid instead of a whole body
  21. This is my 72 Chevy racers wedge converted to a short bed GMC using a Harts parts grille and the old 72 GMC chassis. Pardon the misalignment of the trim between the bed and the cab. It seems like if you line up one thing, something else doesn't. I was pretty close to shaving all the trim off. I just went for something in between
