That is something that i don't think i would be able to do, I don't have enough patience, dedication ,meditation, love for lost causes, not to mention hair pulling which I am almost out of. But seriously, this a tribute to those who put their skills and patience to achieve some great results against all odds. Great results on a not so great kit. Bravo., A palmer kit that looks like an actual car ! the curved rear windows look great.

Great restauration. How I wish I could get my hands on one of these. My father had one back in 66 he kept it 'til 71. Great color choice BTW. thanks for sharing

Had a little fun with an extra ford kit. The wheels and drive train come from the spare box. Painted to look like one I saw when I was young , A nice kit to build and one of the most beautiful pick up of that era IMHO. Tamiya bright red and alclad gloss black foe the body. As always, thanks for looking

Really nice choice of color. Good idea for the tires. Great work on the chevy. -
Yeah ! another four door. Impressive work. It looks almost exactly like the one from my second year grade school teacher had , hers was of a lighter shade but does this brings out some memories, She had a real bad temper though. I really like what you did with this one.

Big rigs can be challenging, but they can also be very satisfying as your model clearly demonstrate. Great job on your first rig. -

Welcome to our little playground Jason. -
The official name was vermilion. I mixed red , orange and white. Not exact but close enough to what I remembered. That's the first time I post this one, the one you may be referring to is this one.

Another ford 53, I wanted to re create a model that a neighbor had back in the 60's. I tried to reproduce the color as I remembered it. I took a picture as reference. Not quite exact but that's the closest I could get with the colors I had. Tamiya acrylics for the body, TS 7 racing white for the top. I like those colors from the 50's. I have a soft spot for the 50's and 60's styling. thanks for looking and commenting.
