  1. Fade Into You - J. Mascis. Mazzy Star cover.
  2. I just might go ahead and read that classic. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who hasn't seen the movie. I have heard more than one story about how Stephen King was not pleased about the way Kubrick directed that film. Maybe the book is the way to go.
  3. I guess no accessories then?
  4. I would be remiss, if I didn't mention this Revell favorite. I never did finish this kit many years ago, but I did manage to paint it in some hideous burgundy color. Sorry, no pics. Now that I have the vintage kit today, I have another shot at it.
  5. Almost exclusively when I was a kid. I was using regular smaller wire cutters for many years now until I just bought an actual sprue cutting tool on Monday. I'm a little more careful these days.
  6. Thanks Mike. How can I get in touch with him?
  7. Yeah! This is a good thread. Making me think of all the models I built when I was a kid. In the basement room, I had the one half, and my dad had the other half for his ham radio stuff. He was big time into that stuff. Not so much now that he's retired down to Florida.
  8. These will look nice on the rear of the Baja bug. I plan on using the Superstones for the front. Now I gotta just find the Jackman wheels.
  9. Got my AMT Haulaway auto transport trailer. Happy to report, tires are all fine and no weird warpage or anything. Truck is not due in until Thursday.
  10. Will the rims from the Superstones F-150 fit them?
  11. Thanks Les, but i got rid of my dot matrix printer years ago. It would sit for months without any use, and when I would go to print something, the ink cartridges would be all dried up. Then I would have to spend like 50 bucks on new cartridges, to print one page and start to whole process all over again. So now, I just don't print anything. I could just flush 50-dollar bills down the toilet and save money. I have no idea what technology is available to the common man today. Just not very computer savvy. I just bought a bunch of brightly colored Testors bottles yesterday for this very project.
  12. Well, I ordered a set of these for the rears on the Baja bug. For the fronts I'm going with the Firestones from the AMT, F-150 Kit. I'm assuming the goodyears are 1/25. so I'm trying to zero in on what wheels I will fit. 710 — Modelhaus Tires
  13. Are all their tires 1/25 or 1/24? They don't give you much information on the site.
  14. That not a bad idea. I keep all of my decals in a folder. I'll have to check that out. As far as the commercial decals, those will still cost a fortune.
  15. Those look pretty good Les. I sent him an email. Is he in the states?
  16. I think I'm gonna have to go with the hand painting. I looked into making the 80s-90s decals for my Westfalia bus replica build and it would have cost as fortune to have them made up. I have a decal sheet with some fictitious 60s-70s decals. I'm gonna have to settle for them.
  17. Sonic Youth - MTV Studios
  18. Dinosaur Jr. - Give a Glimpse of What Yer Not.
  19. I Don't Need No Doctor - Humble Pie. Ashford and Simpson cover.
  20. I meant to say 1/24. While his are pretty nice, they appear to be one piece and the tires appear to be slicks. I will be using my own off-road tires, so I won't need the slicks. Secondly, $48.75 with shipping? Thats a little steep. No? 1:25 3d Printed Jackman VW Five Spoke Wheels And Tires. | eBay
  21. Beautiful Craig! While I'm a fan of the Super Stock ll wheels. I have always loved those SS 1 wheels. ??
  22. Good info. Thanks Brian.
  23. Big and littles would be nice in 1/24.
