  1. Cortez the Killer - Buffalo Tom and J Mascis. Neil Young cover.
  2. Thanks Dirk. I'm quite pleased with the way it came out too. If my wheels would ever get here, I could get moving on this project. Tires came yesterday. Gotta finish that interior and engine. Suspension is all ready to go.
  3. Man! Sorry to hear you got such a bogus deal. May I ask who you ordered it from?
  4. Husker Du - Makes no Sense at All. Live
  5. Stooges - First album.
  6. Storm just increased to a category 4. Winds 2mph less than a category 5. This is gonna be a big one. ?
  7. Was this model sealed when you bought it? It sounds to me like somebody rifled through it already. As far as the instruction sheet, that sounds really weird but any one of us can just take a picture of the sheet and post it if you need.
  8. Keep digging in the bag. It may have come off the tree. I just had that happen with the top end on a Revell van. Had to fish the bag out of the trash and there it was.
  9. Nice! I remember seeing the 1:1 of this car at the Carlisle Mopar Nats many years ago. Might have had a black interior but, can't remember.
  10. #1 is Animal House. #2, I'm not sure.
  11. You should see how many Torq Thusts there wer back in the day.
  12. Talked to my dad yesterday he was in Va. coming up for a wedding and beat the rush. His house is in Jupiter. Hope it's still there when he gets back. ?
  13. Hey! I found one that's close.
  14. Thanks Joel. I may have gotten the inspiration from this Mountain Cycle San Andreas, A custom mountain bike frame company from the 90s as well as the hot rods from yesteryear.
  15. The parts fit nicely, but you first have to modify the Revell '68 bug body a bit. Pretty easy, just cut off the fenders and glue on the new ones, the hood, that front valence piece and the rear engine cover part. Charles has redesigned it to fit better and made up some suspension parts to make rasing the suspension easer. Mine are still in the mail but I used some styrene parts to raise mine. Kit should be out soon, keep checking his website to see. Texas 3D Customs – Texas3DCustoms (tx3dcustoms.com)
  16. Thanks, and I like the color also. Even on a non-Mopar. I hit it with the Tamiya white primer first, then followed up wit 2 coats of the Krylon citrus green, then finished off with the Krolon neon orange. I think I'll just clearcoat the whole thing tomorrow.
  17. I call this a guilty pleasure song because when my friends and I first started out playing music, the big thing for our generation was the punk rock ethos that railed against bands and overindulgent music like this in favor of pure guts and raw, stripped-down type music. Music that favored raw emotion over musicianship. It was more important to us that you really meant it than if you spent the last 25 years studying at the Juilliard. That being said, you gotta admit, this is one great song. When I was a kid, I really liked Emerson, Lake and Palmer. Still do.
  18. Last night, the idea for this fade paint scheme popped into head. Just sprayed it minutes ago.
  19. Nick Cave live on Letterman. Man, this guy can write!
  20. Cocteau Twins - The Spangle Maker EP.
  21. Psychotic Reaction - Cramps. Count Five cover.
