    I was looking for something I could use As a paint rack, and found these that I totally forgot about. The GTO is one of those Franklin mint model kits. Gota find those dor handles and mirror. The 442 is kinda hoaky but there was no other '70 442 out at the time. That Judge is pretty cool though. ?

    That was back when I lived in Avalon NJ for a while. Eventually came back to PA. Then I would Surf in Belmar NJ (90 miles from my home), when one of my good friends moved up there with his girlfriend. I could rely on them to give me a good wave report. They could tell me if it was worth the ride.

    I was hoping this re-issue would have a choice of the Rallye road wheels. I'm probably going to go back and correct a bunch of stuff about mine, starting with the wheels, maybe some white lettering on the tires, correct orange valve covers and that classic Mopar overspray on the undercarriage. I hope I still have those mirrors.

    Both are Revell. The Van one (top) includes the gauge faces in the decal while the Firebird has each tiny gauge face separate from the panel. I just left them painted black rather than deal with that whole dog and pony show. Hopefully, the Micro sol is doing its work. I'll let those dry overnight before I hit them with a little matte clear sealer.

    That wasn't too bad. These instrument panels seem relatively easy compared to the bigger body graphics. What a nightmare. ?
