  1. Agreed. That engine bay is a masterpiece! ?
  2. Thanks Rich! Thats only a fraction of them.
  3. That looks nice for simple lettering and stuff but are there any reasonably priced printers that can make water slide or stick-on decals from any image or logo you can simply google yet? Now THAT I would consider investing in.
  4. That was a good film.
  5. Thanks Greg. Thats more what I'm into. The demon stuff is always pretty scary. The psycho clowns from outer space trying to carve you to pieces really never did it for me. Also, as much as I love Stephen King, cars really don't frighten me all that much. Now The Shining, that was really good.
  6. RC Cola! I used to love that stuff.
  7. Thanks Dan, but I'm kinda over my zombie phase. Kind of burnt out on the whole genre. It's ghost stories and stuff like that that always kept my interest. Fiction and non-fiction.
  8. With all of these nice surfboards that seem to come with many kits, they all seem to be from the same 60s -70s era. I have yet to see a single design from my era, 80s - 90s. The "thruster" as we used to call them. They were usually a squash tail with 3 fins and a lot of rocker. Rocker is the arch of the board. Right now, I'm in the beginning stages of trying to scratch build my own but I would think this would be an easy job with all this 3D printing technology around now.
  9. I have googled "horror books". The trouble is everybody seems to have a different opinion of what horror is.
  10. Yum!
  11. Like a lot of you I'm a big fan of scary movies. Not the ones where teens fall victim to psycho slashers. Ones that are about ghosts and the supernatural and that kind of stuff. My complaint about todays so called horror movies is that the simply are not scary anymore so I turned to reading horror books instead. My sister got me 2 for my birthday in June (1 fiction from some Icelandic woman called I Remember You and 1 nonfiction, House of Darkness, Hose of Light by Andrea Perron) and I'm already finished both. Need more.
  12. I also heard this earlier. Shame. R.I.P.
  13. Ohhh. Thats a looker. ?
  14. Impressive work Karl. If you need yet another body, I have an extra one if you need it.
  15. Thanks Rich. I Was also very active on the long gone Dicast Pub board. I like to do the 1/18 dicast because (they are already painted) I don't have a chance to screw the paint jobs up as much. I even Used to cast my own resin mags. Here ar a few.
  16. Jeff Buckley - Another artist we lost too young. R.I.P.
  17. Urge Overkill - Stull EP
  18. Who Loves the Sun - Zee Avi. Velvet Underground cover.
  19. I'll let that dry a few more days while the weather gets a little less humid around here, then I'll clearcoat the whole thing.
  20. Now that the doctor says I can't have any more sugar I've been buying this sugar substitute that comes in these containers. Don't just put them in the recycling bin. They make great containers for small parts. I have one for street tires and another for street wheels. Off road tires and wheels are in a larger container.
