Rob Lowe, Class. They are underage getting booze in a liquor store and when the clerk asks who is going to pay, he says 50 as he hands him a $50. Sorry, couldn't find a clip.

Ditto! I can remember seeing a Monaco Orange '69 coupe sitting on the street one summer when I was "Down the Shore" in Wildwood NJ. I could not take my eyes off of it. It was like no car I had ever seen before. I was hooked.

I kept looking at that hood the scoops just were not quite ready. I think I glued them on prematurely. So, I carefully cut them off with a hobby knife and decided to have another go at them. I sanded off even more material and this time carefully bent them to go along with the slight curvature of the hood. Now I feel I'm closer to the point where the paint will feather everything in. I remembered to wash the parts of with dish soap this time and I'll let those dry before getting the glue back out.

Still no guesses on this one?

I never would have gotten that one.

They are really nice, as most of Joseph's stuff is, but as nice as that stuff is, it all gets covered up with that massive air cleaner. Now if you were displaying it with the air cleaner off THAT would be really nice.

Ouch! Let's hope they re-issue the kit somewhere down the line. I wouldn't be heartbroken if the made the next one with a 440 six pack.

Got another one of my holy grails. Seller on eBay made me a special offer, so I took them up on it. Always loved those "Cal Look" bugs from the 80s and this one checks off a lot of the boxes. Vintage Revell kit.

I don't know how much this applies, but back when my friends and I all rode mountain bikes, it seems like I was always fixing a lot of everybody else's bikes whenever something would go wrong with them. The same for when we all started in rock bands. They would always give their guitars to me when something went wrong, or they had to put new strings on them. I seemed to enjoy doing the tech work. So much so that when I was in between bands, my friend's band (that I had previously left for another band) put me on as guitar tech. It was great just for the free beer alone not to mention all the girls. ??

It's been a busy week as far as me getting model stuff. I first got some little things at the dollar store, then I got my resin Formula hood from ebay, then I got the 2 Wild Hoss Broncos as well as some paint and decal solution. Now today I got the Entex 1/16 Vette and now the gluebomb 4x4 Dodge pickup that I traded a Chevy van kit for with ramna (Rick). Thanks again Rick!

Looks nice in that yellow. ? -
Another. "Who's going to pay for all of this?" "I am." "And how old are you son?" "50."

Yep! We used to call it the Zagnut scene. My same friend also did the same thing with Zagnut bars because we would quote this one all the time.

Here's another. "Okay, hold it I'm hungry. I know a place. Let's go get something to eat. Alright?"
