  1. I remember watching more than one documentary on it, but they were both a while ago.
  2. I vaguely remember them. Are they still in business?
  3. Hey your right! Thanks TJ! I have that model and I just checked the chrome tree and there they are. Wouldn't mind them without the heat shields but they're free so....... Pays to look past my nose.
  4. I put them on a Boondocker Blazer as a kid. Sorry, no pictures. They are technically 1/20. So you will need the right size wheels to go with them. Hear I used Casey's 5 slots with them.
  5. You're not missing much that film is hard to sit through. I love the Ramones (R.I.P.), but the movie didn't garner and academy awards. It is pretty funny watching the band trying to work with a bunch of professional actors. Mary Woronov (principal Togar) Was insanely hot back when she was one of Warhols Factory girls. She even made an appetence in the Soundgarden video Blow Up The Outside World. Years later.
  6. Man, I wished I would have gotten one of these kits back when they were cheap and plentiful. I know exactly how I would build it. It would require a 440 six pack engine. Coming along nicely!
  7. Bingo! Johnny Ramone specifically, My cousin always used to say this line to me when we were young. ??
  8. I always liked that song Maria from when they made they're first or 2nd comeback. Today. every time somebody says the name Maria, I start singing this song and people are like "Who does that song" and I'm like Blondie. Then they are always like "You mean the One Way Or Another Blondie?" I'm like Bingo! This song is a serious earworm kind of song.
  9. Looks even better with your white letter tire treatment.
  10. We (the U.S. army) did something similar with the Germans in WWII oly with inflatable decoys. Another "bang for your buck" type of thing.
  11. It's also in 1/25. I'm guessing it wouldn't work with a lot of the Revell parts.
  12. Just found this on google. Could have saved me a boatload of work. Oh well, I'm committed to the cheaper route.
  13. Maybe I can get some tubing from the hardware store and try some scratch building.
  14. Slowly coming along with this hood. I sanded the shaker plug down, all the while trying to keep that body line in the center. First using an old piece of 2x4 then finishing of with a new emory board (another good dollar store item). Soon I will be able to glue on the twin snorkels.
  15. Did you say Suede?
  16. Urge Overkill - Americruiser.
  17. The Birthday Party - Loose. Stooges cover.
  18. That looks good in that blue. Reminds me of the one my cousin had some years ago.
  19. I already have better wheels and tires so that should help. working on some side pipes. The rear 3/4 shot does look a little off. Hope I am able to live with that. Package hasn't arrived yet, so my fingers are crossed. I'm used to working with 1/18 diecasts, so I'm kind of tooled up for this one. Plastic is easier to strip and paint.
  20. Nice job. Those Desert Dogs and wheels look perfect.
  21. Can anybody tell me anything about this kit? I won it on ebay last night. Looks pretty cool.
