For the side fins, I was able to use the clothes pin again. This time I used a popsicle stick to get the tilt I needed. 3 fins down, 3 to go!

Was there ever any kit with a '67 GTO ram air pan made in 1/25?

Is it too soon to re-release this kit? Maybe this time Revell could give us a choice of Hemi or 440 six pack. They would only have to include different valve covers and decals. The heads still might work.

Nice shaping Les! If I had to do it again, I might choose a softer material like the 1:1s. Foam. I had to sit there and hold that first trailing fin for what felt like forever waiting for the glue to set up, so I came up with a sort of jig to hold it in place this time. The side fins have to tilt out slightly so I will have to come up with something else.

I marked out the proposed fin locations and used a tiny Dremel bit to make some pockets for the fins to seat into. Only made one test fin so far. One down, five to go.

Sweet! For some reason, I just like that grill.

Been tediously sanding away with an emery board. I used some sandpaper around a pen to get the nose conture. Slowly getting to the desired shape. Haven't started on the fins yet.

Attn: Round 2. It's time to re-release this kit.

My Chevy van kit arrived as well as some shifters and parts from rsmodels (Rich). Just came from HL and grabbed a '67 GTO kit and some paint. Another package expected today. Man! My credit card is taking a beating this month. Next week, I can focus on painting as that humidity has backed off a bit.
