  1. You've done a great job with this. Excellent representation of late models from that era. Your detailing is spot on.
  2. Good looking car, you did a great job! Bobby Hamilton was a very nice guy. Got to know him when he was racing at Highland Rim and the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedways long before he made it to the Cup Series. I know he would like what you've done.
  3. Great build, probably my favorite Johan kits. I'm a big fan of 1:1 AMC Javelins and AMX's.
  4. This car looks great, very well done. Like others, I really like the paint scheme! Thank you for sharing.
  5. Your Buick modified stocker looks great, well done. I really like what you did with the exhaust. Looks like a car of that era, ready to head to the track. For me, I like the kit tires. I well remember race cars of that era running those oversized (by today's standard) racing tires. Everyone called them "humpers". Even up to the 80's, NDRA teams were still using them for stagger.
  6. I built this ASA Thunderbird last year. Trying to learn how to post pictures. Thanks for looking. Steve
  7. Well done! I love those old ASA kits. Wish the Revell, Round 2 or someone would release them again.
  8. Me too, I enjoy the cars of independent owners and drivers. Sadly that era of NASCAR has come and gone.
  9. This is a great looking model. Always liked the John Deere car's.
  10. That car looks great, you did a good job ?
  11. This is really looking good! I love the old drag cars from the 70's.
  12. I like your Coo Coo Marlin build, turned out very nice. Love the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway photos, it's one of my favorite tracks to go to. Thank you for posting.
  13. Looks great so far, one of my favorite body styles. I'm going to check out VSG Resins. I love a Ford 300 straight six.
  14. It's really looking good, thanks for posting this.
  15. You did a good job on this one. I like those old modified stocker kits.
  16. I live in southern Arkansas, almost in Louisiana. I received my copy last Friday and have enjoyed reading my first issue all weekend.
  17. Mines fairly easy if your into college sports. I'm originally from Knoxville, TN. I'm a huge University of Tennessee Volunteers fan, born in 1959 = .Volzfan59 Go Vols!
  18. Excellent work! The 1:1 version is one of my favorite cars ever built.
  19. Great looking build, congratulations! I'm a huge Jimmy "Smut" Means fan all the way back to Huntsville, AL Speedway. I always pulled for the Independents to get good finishes.
  20. Looks great! Next time I'm at Hobby Lobby I'm picking up one of these.
