  1. Thanks I am still learning skills to weather and each build I do a little more. For now this truck will look fresh from dealer.
  2. Weathering is spot on, nice job
  3. Thanks, love fabricating from scratch, building something I can’t purchase.
  4. Frame is now stretched to fit the new wheelbase. Tomorrow I can start building the chassis. I did find the wide front tires and rims I want to use in my parts drawers.
  5. Really nice build Tom, definitely top skills
  6. Wow, great color, nicely done
  7. This is where the project is today. Waiting for the front bumper(bull bar), make the frame hinges and latch for front bumper, new fender mount turn signals, repaint truck bed (now gloss black) to a semi gloss black, run all the hydraulic lines, add mirrors and other small details.
  8. I live in Northern Michigan where logging is a important industry. In my small town there is a trucking company with about 20 acres of logging trucks and equipment. These logging trucks are monsters and I had to try and replicate my version of a Michigan Logging Truck. Everything from the cab to the back of the trailer had to be fabricated or purchased aftermarket. I bought a crane but it was not what I was looking for so I build the crane from scratch ( some pieces more than once). Picture on my bench was the inspiration. Just received this past week some more aftermarket detail stuff
  9. Thanks David, maybe one of these days I will go a WIP write up on the logging truck, been working on it for a year.
  10. Outstanding builds, wish I could get more time at my bench
  11. Really nice build, love the detail
  12. I’ll have to admit that this build is very cool and I have been thinking about building something similar but not a your level. I have this T600 KW kit, shorten the wheelbase, single air ride rear axle, use a set a Moebius fat singles, do a day cab (easy to do on this kit), swipe the roll bar kit from a pro-street kit, add a front air dam to the bumper and slam it on the ground and maybe a twin turbo engine. And…..and…….and. I just can’t stop thinking of ideas.
  13. Excellent build sir. side note: I grew up just south of you in Williamsville and Sherman area.
  14. Where did you get the airline kit?
  15. Wow, that’s impressive, gotta follow this build
  16. Kurt, yes it is, got another COE cab to build some day
