Added some detail, but where to stop. Wanted the motor to look well used but not rusty old. Used some details cues from the archives in this site, not sure how accurate I am but it will do until the next build.
Input needed: using the wider tires puts the tires just outside of the fenders. Bought two sets of flares for earlier Peterbilt and seem to fit fairly well. Questions: No.1 switch back to narrow tires? No.2 add flares to cover wide tires? no3: if using flares, should they go to the bottom of side skirts, which I could do by sectioning the second set of flares to extend length?
I might be odd man out here but, little old fashion I guess. Onkyo disk changer, receiver and speakers to rattle the windows. Lots of Metallica, Ozzy, Korn, Nickelback, you get the picture. My hobby room is above the garage.
Question, did you use an axle that was molded in pieces, or did you cut apart a fully molded axle? I have heard of guys cutting apart axles to give them the ability to turn.
Finally got the colors sorted out and been playing with an app to design the decals. Coral blue will be applied to the front fenders and lower aero panels. The hood, cab, sleeper and cargo box will be white. Thinking about painting the top of the hood only in gloss or semi gloss black and the front flares will be semi gloss black. Decal will follow same color scheme.
