  1. Can’t go wrong with a hemi
  2. I love that stance.
  3. Got the 4 link in. Used some styrene square tube for the mounts and the struts are the old shocks from the kit. The springs are from a ballpoint pen. I cut the axles off the differential and notched it to fit over new axle tube made form a plastic golf tee. I am going to have to trim a bit more from the chassis pan for tire clearance and have left the diff cover off until I mount the motor and trans so that I can change the angle of the diff. Not near as clean as many I see here but for my first build in 40 years I am kind of proud of it. Comments are welcome.
  4. Thanks, still trying to figure this out.
  5. Got the chassis in paint and the wheel tubs are about there. Engine is wired and ready after a little touch up and I think I’ve got the 4 link figured out. Till next time.
  6. Got a little more done today. 426 wired and ready, chassis in paint and tubs roughed out. I think I’ve figured out the 4 link for the rear so that’s up next.
  7. Well this is sure going slow but I got the chassis in primer, a few fill and sand areas to do. And getting started wiring the engine. At this pace, I might have this one completed by 2023.
  8. An up date on Charger project. Going is slow here… can’t wait till retirement. Got the wheel tubs roughed in, they will be painted aluminum. Rear end is narrowed to size but I am going to have to abandon my original thoughts of using the stock leaf springs and fab up a 4 link…. Suggestions?
  9. My digital subscription keeps closing and trying to reload before I’m done with the issue.
  10. Gonna be a nice car but man, I’m more impressed with your workbench.
  11. Looking forward to seeing how you do those fender flares.
  12. How do you guys mock up suspensions so that you can remove them for paint? (Glued)?
  13. 1st time posting here, 1st model since the early 80s. Though I’d try getting back into modeling and I may have bitten off more than I can chew with this one. I cut out the floor to fit drag slicks and built new frame with polystyrene. Had to shorten fuel tank, frame still needs a little filling and sanding then I can figure out if I can use leaf springs or need to build a 4 link. Then prime and paint after it’s set up. Hopefully I can make this work.
