1/1 hot rod build question
NerdmanB replied to NerdmanB's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Bill I absolutely agree with you. It will be a big project. I do have time to work on it, and a couple guys from work said they will help . It’s something I have wanted to do for a long time. Unfortunately anything in better shape than this is way out of my price range. So I will work with what I have. Appreciate any and all advice. Brian -
I agree with everyone else. Keep posting, I don’t always respond to a post. But I always learn something new. There is so much talent and creativity here it’s hard not to learn something new. I should respond more I’m just not a very wordy guy. But I will keep following. It looks good so far. Brian

1/1 hot rod build question
NerdmanB replied to NerdmanB's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Thanks for replying everyone. Scott I will save that sight. Mark . It is original gm body. The guy that started it removed the floor from fire wall to the rear of the car. There is no interior, almost all the wood is missing. It’s going to be a long project. I’m mostly retired so I have time. I’m sure I will watch a lot of you tube videos. I will post pictures as I go. Looking forward to getting started , but it’s a little too hot in the garage for me right now. Brian -
I’m going to be building my first hot rods. 1934 Chevy 5 window coupe. Someone else started it and planned on channeling it . My question is can the body be bolted down solid or should I put in some kind of mounts? Any help will be much appreciated. Brian

Tim always enjoy your builds. So hard to believe the details you get in 1/25 scale. The amateur and nerd in me reds your whips many times, and I usually find something I missed. Hope your daughter doesn’t run you too ragged lol. Have a great summer. Brian

Scott enjoying this the decals look great . The complexity of the paint job would be impossible to replicate in scale. Look forward to seeing the completed model. Would like to check out STS decals does he have a website? Brian -

NerdmanB replied to Zippi's topic in Trading Post
Bob I just stumbled on this post. If you have another 35 you would like to trade . I have several pro stock kits. I know I’m late so I fully understand if you don’t. Look forward to hearing from you either way. Brian -
Dennis sorry to hear about the arthritis. I also have arthritis many aches and pains. Not enough to stop me from building. Since I’m a glutton for punishment I just bought a 1/1 31 Chevy coupe to hot rod. Hope it doesn’t slow you down. I always enjoy your builds. You are very talented. I will be watching this one as well . Brian

’72 Dodge Demon Drag Racer 1/25 scale
NerdmanB replied to AmericanMuscleFan's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
Francis this absolutely amazing. Your skill and vision are incredible. I am thinking of trying to use metal in my builds. First will be a brass funny car frame. But I want to try machining some parts. My question is where do you get your end mills? Again amazing work. Brian -

NerdmanB replied to Ian McLaren's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
Ian I did ship a body to Scotland was about $20 as I remember. But what you have looks very good. I have a question, where do you get your end mills. If anyone else can use this T Bird body let know I have no use for it. Looking forward to more of this build Brian- 60 replies
